Here's a little tip if you're trying to get a good ending or the best ending; do not get hit by the rain, as Pinobee will take damage in contact with water due to being a robot. If you are currently invincible after getting an invincibility item from an item capsule and do end up in contact with rain or groundwater, this will not affect the level ranking as Pinobee has to be registered in the game data as being damaged by the rain drops (signified with the shocked expression on his face every time he takes damage). Note that even if you are using a shield, getting hit by rain will still count against the level ranking.

Although Pinobee was not made by Sega, it is made by former Sega and Sonic Team employees under the developer Artoon, including the director and character designer of the game, Naoto Ohshima, who is known for creating Sonic, Dr. Eggman, and NiGHTS, as well as directing Sonic CD. The game seems to be a spiritual successor to Sonic CD with the exploration and multiple endings being a major focus. Edit: The "cards" or items can be used to enhance Pinobee in various ways based a Bingo-like system. If you get a line of 4 items whether horizontally or vertically (not diagonally), you get enhanced based on which position and orientation the line is. However, specific colors can determine which horizontal lines enhance more than the others like the 3rd pink horizontal line giving a energy unit (flowers) capacity of 200 more instead of 100 more like the others, the 4th orange line slowing down the speed of energy unit consumption by 2 seconds instead of 1, and the first two blue lines being for a larger life meter increase and increased durability for both respectively. Interestingly enough, the meaning of these lines make more sense in the Japanese version as they are based on virtues Pinobee learns (the game is called Pinobee: Quest of Heart in Japan), like love (pink), courage (blue), and effort (orange). Pink has "Love is beautiful", blue is "Courage is amazing" and "Courage is strong", and orange is "Effort is tough". One last thing about the items, you must collect all items of a certain type or color to get the ability to find two secret items called the King and Queen. Finding these two of the same color you previously got (all blue plus two blue special items) will grant you a very special enhancement you must find out about. No spoilers. Edit 2: After playing the game for a while, I noticed that you can only get the two special items if you're going for the best ending, which means finding every button, not attacking NPCs, finding certain bubbles, and helping these characters. Although defeating the gold enemies stops the other enemies from getting stronger and smarter, they don't contribute to the endings.

It was a good thing you switched up to one game per vid format,i tought you skipped games or smth initially bcs of those.lumped reviews at the beginning. Also it wouldve made really hard to search a specific game in here😅

Good video the mic is picking up a lot of your pop sounds maybe you want to try like a pop filter or maybe just try to be further away from the mic

I did not realize that 2 of the Castlevanias were this early in the GBA library.

Great start to the series with several games I’d never heard of so definitely educating me on the history of the console’s library ☺️ I’m intrigued on the battery vs password save debate, as someone who has been stung by battery save in classic Pokemon games I always worry about dry batteries. I should probably learn to change them 😅
