ohl should eliminate 3 overage spots and add 3 16 year olds that are held in reserve. It will be a bit of a younger league. Overagers will be the first to leave. nhl may have a say on what route a drafted player should take. And this probably seals muskegon and youngstown leaving ushl for ohl.

I think it's time to give coach Jussi Ahokas some much deserved credit. What he has been able to get out of this Ranger team is nothing less than impressive. The entire team is playing a very responsible and hard skating game. Scoring is spread out through all the lines. Their defense has been extremely solid along with great goal tending. Must remember this is a very young team.

continued, I would like to add l have played hockey, coached hockey and seen alot of games at all levels of the game. There is virtually very little or no difference in LU mens(OUA) hockey cabibre of play compared to OHL, WHL or QMJHL . That's were alot of these elite players come from. Problem is LU doesn't play alot of games. LU average attendance l believe is actually higher than for or 5 or 6 OHL teams. TB loves their hockey. That could be one of the other problems we have too many options and too spread out. Thank you again. Frank G Costa

Thank you for the video. There is interest in an OHL team in Thunder Bay but deep pockets would be needed and the right owners. Distance, bus travel in the winter and travel subsidy is a deal changer. TB would usher in air travel. Thats inevitable. Flying down and bus travel combination would be needed. For the record we used to be the only Canadian team in the USHL. The US dollar was a big factor in the demise. We did have the TB Twins a very successful senior team. As well as we were in the Colonial League with Pro teams Thunder Hawks and Senators an affiliate of Ottawa. Thunder Bay has two junior A teams. The North Stars of the SIJHL who play out of the FW Gardens along with LU and the Kam River Fighting Walleye who play out of a Murillo rink. As well we have two Junior B teams in TB who play in the LJHL. We are a hockey mecca. Maybe the fans are ok with the status quo. I don't really think some of the owners in the OHL want us in the league for a variety of reasons. TB likes a winner and a physical type of team. They can be fickled when it comes to attendance so season ticket guarantees would have to be in place. The arena is great, parking is limited but manageable. Thank you. Frank G Costa

The OHL needs to step in and not allow Oshawa to move. There isn't many teams with history left and Oshawa has a lot of it.
