I wish I'd found this BEFORE I had to replace the batteries. All I managed to do was break off the flimsy, little tabs that hold the cover in place...... NOW it's held on with tape..... :(

My personal opinion: do NOT invest money in this fake/replica SEIKO 5 watch. For the same amount of money you might find a second hand, an original one.

Use silicon based oil for plastic parts.
