you hit the front of object 268 which is 120mm with rocket with 107mm pen and 67kg explosive it's kinda expected ngl and if you gonna argue by using anti ship rocket thing well it not like people fire at side of the ship which is heavy armored but they fire at top of the ship hull becouse it got less armor. (how do i know? i fking dont it just logic and guess)

I think Because it was a collat ( or atleast you werent what the shell impacted on) the animation got bugged and treated it as the first hit, but in reality a single frag bounced off that little piece of geometry in the center.
