Definition of winning in the battle but losing in the cut scene

The only thing I disliked about Vegeta Saiyan saga is that after beating Goku. His health remain the same. I like how the skill menu goes. Seeing the characters we play on the left side of the screen. The developers also did a great details on Goku and Frieza expression on their final fight. Like in 32:45 we can see Frieza terrified of Goku in his Super Saiyan form. BTW, Those Vegeta playthrough in the Namek and Android Saga aren't What if scenarios
