Nothing much here, just my thoughts and my after-coffee flight 😄 Next time, I will lock my exposure on the tripod camera 🙈 This is the new (replacement) Avata 2 that I got after that last crash. You *really* want Care Refresh on these things... it's well worth it!

it's a v4 75mm frame with a beebrain v2 canopy, runcam nano3 camera, hm 2g4 elrs aio, hm ex0802 25kkv, gemfan 1610 biblades, a bunch of flyhigh 5v cob leds and very old gnb 450mah 1s cells with the bt2.0 connector.

Ripping the @badfourlife SAF5o3 with the DJI O3 airunit and I did some color, lens correction and 0.050 smoothing. Using ND16 on the lens, locked shutter to 1/120 or 1/200 I can't remember. This was the day we saw the guy and his doodle washing the tesla. Good rips, but lets not get seen next time ;)

Recording in 2.7k120 16:9 with Rocksteady enabled, using ND16 and manual white balance of 5700K and shutter at 1/300s. 4k30p timeline and color and retime in DaVinci Resolve. Song is called Drone Dreams (Wiggly Lines) created on Suno (the wife prompted it for me 😹)

Took some recent footage of the upper park from my custom DJI O3 equipped AOS LR5 Evo and repeated the line with the DJI Avata 2. Cut that together and here you go: Before and after of Chico's Upper Park over Bear Hole, after Park Fire 2024. You can ride along and see the ecological effects of the fire.

It seems that a careless person has caught upper Bidwell park on fire, it spread out of control and burned Cohasset. This has put a friend of mine out of a home. 0:00 Context 0:40 Flight across to North Rim 2:26 Overlook at Sentinel Point. 4:30 Second flight over Bear Hole 5:04 "Park Fire" ignition point at Alligator Hole 6:59 manual return to home position

Haha thanks! I even made beans for dinner, I got beans to spare! I miss flying micros around my street, been flying bigger drones and have to go places to do that but there's something fun about just being close to home. During the pandemic I could get away with so much more 😅

How do you get it to record your crashes? My avata 2 stops recording immediately on impact
@@khyeRNR in manual mode it won't disarm until you tell it to, I really should have hit airbrake but I panicked. Manual mode requires the Radio Controller handset.
