Bragging About My Plants... In French | Just For Fun
Hello everyone! I don't have a new project to show this time, but since you've become so numerous around here, I decided to share a small update with you and also share this small interview we did in French where I talk about my collection, just for fun. As you all know by now, my studio is fairly small and I don't have much room for big makeovers, but if you have an idea of a project I could do, please write me in the comments below. I'm always happy to hear from you :) Thank you so much for visiting my channel!

DIY Mini Terrarium Coffee Table From Recycled Materials Almost For Free | Upcycled Planted Table

As you all know I live in a tiny studio apartment in Paris, and I own more than 150 plant species. So it can get a little tight sometimes :) This is the reason why every new piece of furniture I bring in has to be well thought-through and with maximum practicality. And even better if I can incorporate some of my plants inside the furniture! A few months ago while scrolling on Instagram I ran in...
How To Make Your Hanging Houseplants Fuller | Propagation Tutorial (With Update!)
Просмотров 6203 года назад
Hey everyone! It took me a century to upload a new video and I'm sorry, this one was a long one to film and edit :) I had a few Tradescantias, a String of Hearts and one Pilea Glauca that I had started from small cuttings, and now a few months later they had grown a lot but they looked a little weird, so I decided to propagate them and make fuller pots out of them. It's so cool how in only a ma...
DIY Staghorn Fern Mount + Ikea hack | Easy and Affordable Indoor Plant Decor
Просмотров 9 тыс.3 года назад
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my channel :) In this video I talk about my Staghorn fern (Platycerium bifurcatum), and since he was very badly root-bound, I decided it was time to mount it. When I was thinking about how to do it, I thought of an interesting idea that turned out to be awesome! I found an Ikea product that was just the perfect thing for this project, and it's also super affordable...
Nine Houseplants With Blue Silvery Foliage (that are not expensive)

How To Make A Plant Wall In The Tiniest Corner Of Your Home (Cheaply and Without Drilling The Wall)
Просмотров 6433 года назад
I love plants and I have A LOT of them. And since I live in a super tiny apartment, I want to use every possible space I can to add plants, and it would be such a pity not to use a corner that is so bright, and it's out of the way but it can accommodate plenty of my green babies! And since I'm renting I have to find creative ways to do my projects without doing any permanent damage to the walls...
How To Mount A Dischidia On A Piece of Driftwood | Wood Mounted Planter
Просмотров 4,3 тыс.3 года назад
A few months ago I got a few cuttings of a Dischidia, I don't know the exact species but I think it's either a Dischidia imbricata or Dischidia platyphylla (if you can identify it, please let me know in the comments). It's going to flower soon so hopefully, I will be able to identify it properly. I decided to mount it on a piece of driftwood because for epiphytic plants such as this one, the be...
The Satisfaction of Peperomia Propagation
Просмотров 3933 года назад
Hi everyone, I hope you're having a great week! In this video I'm sharing with you something that is at the core of my Houseplant fascination, and that is the satisfaction of propagating. Peperomias are some of the easiest plants to propagate and here I will show you how I do it and I will take you around my Peperomia propagation stations and talk about each species I am currently propagating. ...

How To Make a Vertical Garden in a Tiny Bathroom (On a Budget)
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.3 года назад
Welcome to the first video on my channel! I live in a tiny apartment in Paris, and as all plant lovers that live in small spaces, I'm trying to fit as much greenery as possible in every remote corner of my home. My bathroom is super small but the shower has a perfect glass wall where I decided to build a green wall using a cheap but sturdy base and recycled scraps for plant support. Nearly all ...
A great instructional video 👍
Thank you for the bonsai idea
💞🌺😀 OMG, say "Terra cotta". 😄
💖😊I was just about to compliment you on your beautiful accent, and then noticed other people have said the same.
Vous parlez très bien français, bravo à vous! 😊
You r cute..
This was the first video of yours that I have seen. It was really great! I love your thorough explanations and your calm and soothing voice and manner. Plus your did it all in what I assume is a second language for you. Well done! I really hope you have more videos to check out. A friend of mine is traveling now in the Philippines and his IG just showed a dischidia growing in the wild, and I believe it was this exact species. I really want to get one-I need a friend who can give me a cutting!
I am so excited to start doing this
Mine has gone yellow. Why is this? If i accidentally touch it just slightly the bits fall off the leaves even on the greener leaf, I notice yours doesn't wheb you touch it. Also a new stem doesn't have many bits on it (leaves?)
Thanks, i watched from Slovakia. I like your advice. 👍🥀❤️
❤❤
On my snag, sphagnum dries completely in a day. Given the fact that the humidity in the house is 57%. I'll redo it, put earth or coconut chips under the sphagnum.
Or put more sphagnum. It also depends on the period of the year, for me in winter it stayed wet for about a week, while in summer it was getting bone dry in 2 days. I'd maybe advise against soil, it's difficult to put on a mount, dischidias don't grow in soil, and i think it won't provide enough air to not rot the wood underneath. Better coco chips or more sphag. As for mine, I was away for some time and the person watering my plants was lazy to properly water it and when I was back there were only a few shoots still holding on. Which I repropagated in a prop box and now they are thriving again. Should do another mount!
Brilliant idea! I have two ferns needing mounted but was struggling to find something suitable. Just ordered two types of cork mats from ikea, bargain at £11 inc delivery. Great video, thanks 😊
I hope the textured wall is not the popcorn type that may contain asbestos - please be careful!
Nice video, thanks. Quick question, what is the name of the plant with the big green leaves on the back shelf, on the right hand side of the Monstera?
It's Anthurium Clarinervium 🙂
Do they have spores
Is this edible?thanks..from Philippines...
Where can someone find preserved moss cheap in bulk
You can find this in most flower shops. However what I use in this video is not preserved moss but dried moss, please note there is a difference: dried moss is dormant but alive and does need watering and care to be brought back to life and maintained. Preserved moss is chemically treated and doesn't need any maintenance, on the contrary - watering preserved moss will ruin it. It cannot be brought back to life and I don't recommend it for a similar project like the one I did in the video. After trying dried moss though, I also wouldn't recommend it, as in an open terrarium like this it dries out too quickly and is very difficult to be kept moist at all times.
Great video. I have an 8 inch pot and a 6 inch pot full of staghorn ferns that need to be mounted. I ordered white birch slices with the bark still intact, but they're fresh cut and need to dry first before I can mount my ferns to them. I'm excited 😊
Did the cork board and cardboards hold up? In my experience they tend do rot fairly easily that's why I prefer to use some sort of harder wood instead. Like a cutting board.
A cutting board is made of untreated wood which if kept moist will produce black mold. The cork has surprisingly kept intact, even though I must admit since it's not natural cork but it's a man made object of which only one ingredient is the cork, I thought it would deteriorate quicker. I noticed that if I wet the cork thoroughly also on the back side and stays wet for long, it will show some signs of black mold on the back side. But to avoid this, now I water them vertically, trying not to wet the back side, and this seems to do the trick 🙂 However cardboard is not a part of he design, I only used the cardboard to transfer the markings on the cork.
I just wanna say that I'm in love with your intro!! Super cool and well executed!
Haha that's cute! Thanks 😊
A lot of my leaves turned yellow, assuming because I didn't water it enough. So I cut most of the leaves off, all the way down to just the top of the pot. Will it grow back? Also, do you have an updated video to this one?
Hi Dilma, if the roots aren't dead yes it should grow new shoots from the base. I'd say make sure to keep it in the most favorable conditions you can, bright indirect light, elevated humidity if possible and water it when it starts to dry out, and give it some time. Just make sure not to overcompensate with water as that may drown it. Unfortunately, I don't have an updated video, but I wouldn't know what more to add to what I already said here :)
Awesome video I have this fern and like it! I want to propagate it though so I’ll have more than one fern but I’m afraid to!
such a fun project! I might try this with one of those storage pockets (for shoes?) that you can hang on the back of a door

Very creative! Thanks for sharing
Hello ans thanks for the tips, I’ve an asparagus fern at home for a year. How can I promote new growth. Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi there, thanks for visiting my channel 😊 Sometimes they need some time to acclimate to the new conditions in your home after they are taken from the shop. Normally if you give it some good light and enough water, it should start growing. But the light is really important. If you don't have enough light and you have enough plants to make it worth your while, you should consider getting a grow light.
nice nice
Very helpful information. I thank you and will be back for information on other varieties.
Nice video thank you ❤
❤❤
Thank you! Look forward to more soon!
I really like this idea, very creative! I have seen them mounted on planks but I felt like that was too heavy looking and inorganic. I like the round shape a lot more
Is there an update video of these three stag horns. To see how they look now? And how they grew on the wall on the mounts?
Unfortunately no update on the video, but I still have them on the original mounts! I gave one away to a friend and the two I still have are doing well. Haven't grown much because I've neglected them severely I must say (I water them about once a month or so) but they are still green and pushing out new fronds! I'm sure if I gave them more attention and better light they would have become massive by now 🙂
Thanks. The board is a cool idea.
This was very informative and a very clever idea to mount them on a round potstand. Enjoyed the video!
Very good information New friend joining stay connected
this is so useless when you run the camera fast so we can't see the details of what you are doing
Sorry you feel that way Amal. I was simply wrapping the fishing wire around the plant so it would stay up against the moss. Didn't think there was the need to show in details and I didn't want to bore the people watching with hours of footage that is more or less self explanatory in my opinion. Thanks for visiting!
@@MiniHomeJungle no problem , I am sorry , and thank you for your understanding
Just found this channel and I love it 😭
Wow, beautiful video...

Haha thanks, and yes I am, more specifically from Macedonia :) Some of you guys have commented that I have a nice accent but funnily enough I'm very self conscious because of it 😅 Thanks for visiting my channel though!
@@MiniHomeJungle dont be self conscience.. U r blessed to have it. I wish I had one. This makes u special😀😀😀
@@jonhcontreras Haha, well maybe in the States 😃
You're very pretty..
Cette plante est tellement rapide à pousser quasiment plus de 1 mètre par 1ans minimum
Lovely! Looks amazing! I salvaged the supplies to make something similar and you’ve definitely inspired me to do it!
Just over a year later. How did they do? I have one that's over 20 years old now...time for a repot!
Hi! They did great despite the massive underwatering treatment I gave them 😂 Until recently I had them all but then I gave them away to friends because I had too many haha. Wow if yours is that old it must be huge! It does sound like a repot is due 🙂
@@MiniHomeJungle Thank you for the update, and congrats on your growing Asparagus (not asparagus) Fern (not fern) Family! Following your fine example this afternoon.
It can be grown from berries also.
It's true but good luck getting them 😃
@@MiniHomeJungle already got it😀
