I got a Vanguard backcountry 300 I always push my cheek a little more than usual on the stock so when it kicks it pulls my face and head back with the recoil so I don't scope myself lol,I usually don't shoot it more than ten times at the range or I start to flinch and pull my shots.10 shots then back on the 22lr for a few hundred.

You can have a muzzle brake put on your 300. I think I'm going to have one put on mine.

I love my 300 Weatherby, I also have a 378 Weatherby which really kicks the snot out of you, I shoot my 300 quite a lot, it really doesn't kick bad compared to the 378, nice video thanks.

My dad bought me a Sako Finnbear 30-06 in September 1962 for $137. We put a Weaver K-4 scope on it for $29.99 and some sub $15 rings. I will NEVER sell this gun as it has killed dozens of whitetails, a few exotics and an elk. You don't get rid of a friend of 62 years!

That ding story is total BS. One it’s a load gun and hearing a ping after 8 rounds isn’t that clear. Two there isn’t one gun shooting. Usually there were platoons of 40 men or squads of 8 men and along with the M1, you would have BARs firing automatic, Thompson firing automatic and possibly artillery or mortars; but an enemy soldier 200 yards away is waiting for a ping to attack? Not in the real world.

hello there im new at dipping i been looking at a lot of dip i use to smoke but gave it up then i found the tabaco an Nic dip but i did not want to keep being around it so the lady at the store showed me backoff . so i picked a can up im really impressed with it . what i was wondering is would y'all have different type of flavors that not in pouches cause the one i have is the backoff rough cut wintergreen. would there all so be a way i can sample an make a review of yall product if its possable please let me know thanks an would yall have a website i can go on to order

Restocked my Weatherby 300 with a synthetic McMillan with a straight comb buttstock. Nathan Foster had said the classic Weatherby stock enhanced muzzle clip and recoil. Seems a lot better this way.

I got my Silver Streak in 1976 when I was 12. Still have it, dead accurate, fed a lot of cats with it. I always kept a few pellets in my mouth in case I needed a quick follow up shot.

Weatherby is and always been a super cool rifle. I bought a brand new 270 Weatherby mag. in 1966 for $125. while in the Army in Augsburg Germany. Wish I still had the rifle.

I have a left handed Weatherby Mk V Lasermark in .300 Wby Mag. and love it, although it does kick the snot out of me every time i touch it off. Wouldn't give it up for anything.

I have a .300Wby in a Sako 75. It is a 26" with beautiful dark walnut stock. Been shooting it for 26 years. I worked up alot of handloads with spectacular accuracy down to about 0.25 moa. I did a lot of shooting with this rifle while developing handloads. I usually do 50-100 shots a day off the bench while shooting other rifles. I have not had any issues with recoil from this rifle, it provides a sharp push backwards but nothing ungainly. I was 140lbs and 5'-7.5" back then so I believe it is all about having the proper mount to your shoulder and good cheek weld. I wanted a .375 Wby by Sako or Sauer but couldn't find one back in 2000. I may have to go with a Weatherby rifle for that cartridge. I have weatherby rifles in my collection, but I wanted a European rifle in the 300 and 375Wby in particular because they each are capable of shooting their iconic counterparts in the 300 and 375 H&H! Making these two Weatherbys very versatile, especially finding cartridges off the shelves.

Dipping advice from a lady... marketing fail

Okay not a bad video but…. They aren’t shells, it’s not a shotgun. Also, there is absolutely ZERO evidence that German or Japanese soldiers “listened for the ping” That’s utter horseshit. I have 4 Combat tours under my belt and when shit pops off you can’t hear your battle buddy screaming at you from 3 feet west let alone a ping 100 yards away at your enemy’s line.
