IMO Wes Anderson perfected his style in this film. Since then he's evolved much more slowly but has become overly focused on letting the visuals dominate everything else. Rushmore and Life Aquatic remain my favorites because the visuals accentuate the characters and story rather than dominate them .

Elijah was adorable in the out takes. They should made their way into the film.
