Everything ‘s born from the love of the wood. The solid wood, worked with the craftsmanship of those who know how to turn a log into a piece of artwork. Porada has its origin from this passion.
Porada was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi with the aim of expanding the production of chairs, started in 1948.

Porada's commitment to environmental sustainability continues, particularly in relation to the company-owned forests located in Burgundy, France.
Since 2011, Porada has pursued a strategy of investment in the French land to guarantee a sustainable and certified supply of ash wood for the production of its furniture. This ensures supervision of the wood management and procurement phases, while reducing the environmental impact of purchasing raw materials from external suppliers.
Over the years, the forest's surface area has increased to 260 hectares located in several municipalities of Burgundy: Vitry Lache, St-Aubin des Chaumes, Devay, Thaix and Remille, in the Nièvre department.

How beautiful and incredible works of art. My grandfather was a state of the art carpenter and hold an auspicious workshop and showroom in our city of Gujranwala after the partition of subcontinent. Unfortunately, we cannot continue his legacy but furnishings and the fragrance of the woods are in our blood. I'm fifty years old and want to learn the art of making woods into Jewels but haven't time and opportunity due to my economic activities and family responsibilities. Anyway, love and respect for you guys.
