Most fatal bee diseases are fungal infections, and bees have many behaviours that are deliberately designed to reduce any fungal presence in the hive. So ideally a hive is not like soil, and contains little to no fungus. There are definitely NOT 20 kinds of mites, that's flagrantly false. There are only two present in North America, the tracheal mite and varroa destructor. The germination of a seed is not "strengthened" by multiple pollinator visit, that's not how germ cells work. Bringing bees into a garden doesn't not necessarily increase its health. In fact honey bees are far less effective pollinators than most endemic species of solitary bees, and will often "nectar rob" flowers to get at the prize without performing any pollination services (common behaviour on blueberries). There are many good reasons to keep honey bees and this is not one of them. This is a constant stream of misinformation that can be easily fact checked. Patagonia, you should be embarrassed, and this farmers is far too eager to educate the world on a topic he is not well versed in.
