Machining Steel Vise Jaws Part Two
Machining custom steel vise jaws for my vise restoration project.
The vise jaws are 6 in wide, 1.5 in tall, and 0.75 in deep. The holes are positions to match a standard 6 inch machinist vise’s 3.875 in center to center distance. Both holes are drilled and bored for seating a 1/2 in 13 TPI Bolt flush with the jaw’s surface.
