I have seen ads for you guys and I do have some questions. Me and the wife team for Fedex Ground. 1099 or W2? Percentage or CPM? Do you have enough volume to keep us moving? I don't like to sit, I want to roll and lately Fedex Ground doesn't keep us rolling.
Thanks for reaching out! We are 1099 Independent Contractors and work on a percentage of the load revenue. 40-60 split with 40% going to the team after fuel surcharge and tolls. Hyfield pays fuel, tolls, and all maintenance. We have partnerts with FedEx Custom Critical and also Panther Premium Logistics. You asked if we had enough freight to keep you moving? First I would say expediting freight is NOTHING like regular trucking. I would highly suggest you do more research into expediting including videos on our channel and other channels to get a better grasp of how it works. I’m not involved with Hyfield in anyway but I have done expedited trucking. Personally I couldn’t “team-drive” but if you have a single household income driving team, you’ll do well at hyfield and be treated well from all reports.
We have a blackout curtain in every truck we have had since we started driving.
It really does make a difference!
