Amazing thank you
Great video. Helps with my home practice!
I enjoy, watching tai chi !
Great demo. Thanks 👍
It’s interesting to see the different interpretations of Cheng Man Ching’s teachings by his advanced students: William Chen, Dr. Tao; and Huang Sheng Shyan. I learned William’s form in the 80s. Since 2008, I have studied with students of Patrick Kelly, one of Master Huang’s close students. But I still attended some of William’s workshops and workshops conducted by students of Dr. Tao. Good luck in your study. I like your form.

Useful for students of this form
I did not know that chen pan ling had this form. pretty cool.
Thanks for including portions of the four corners form and the 24 form. It is very helpful to those of us who are just learning these forms. And thanks Brian for demonstrating your amazing skills. Don W.
This is really wonderful Jim! I was wondering if you do this form open hand also. In our school we call it bagua clouds and wind. All the movements are done clockwise and counterclockwise before executing the next movement. Do you have a tutorial video or perhaps know of one? thanks and great Job. You are lucky to have been taught by Grandmaster Chen Yun Ching.
Thanks Kathy I was a bit rusty but your practise reminded me of the transitions.
glad to see you link to Hal Mosher's wisdom warrior site in north Cali.
Are there belts in this style?
to hold up pants, yes
It's wonderful to see my Shifu again! Congratulations on your successful spreading of the Arts of your father!
Amazing! Thank you for sharing. Do you have a video on xing yi staff by any chance?
An beautiful variant of the standard Yang Cheng-fu long form. I am particularly interested in the Grasp Sparrow's Tail sequence through all three parts. After the Ji, the left hand moves over and wraps around the right wrist. This initiates an elegant transition into the withdrawal and the subsequent An. Can anyone tell me about the origin of that left palm wrapping? (And the form of the An?). Is anyone familiar with the hand movement called "Double Lotus"? thanks
I believe it came from the founder of the Rochester Tai Chi Chuan Center when he used this section in a beginner form called the Four Direction form. It was used as a grip release.
Beautiful movement, thank you.
Wonderful, thank you for sharing!
Kai Sung was my Sifu in Taiji and Shaolin at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland for 3 yrs. Great Man.
Again, why did I watch this?? Don't these guys ever speak??
Form speaks for itself mostly. I will say this old man is very technically proficient (not sure if the flow is right, but the moves look textbook)
Good and thank you
He Wei Qi 何伟琪 was a student of great Taichi master Fu Zhong Wen 傅钟文. Her skills in Taichi is deep. She was involved in the original development of the Qigong Shibashi. This particular set, the second set, which came a few years after the original set one is a great revision and improvement. Taichi principles are better applied and the effects more pronounced. In this video, the second set is performed slightly differently from other video you may find on the internet for good reasons. I believe it incorporates He Weiqi's understanding of Qi development and flow.
Nice Job!
Beautiful performance thanks for sharing!
Just went to a Tai Chi festival in Belgioioso (Italy). Your movement is as good as anyone’s I saw there. I admire your fluidity.
👍👍👍💕💕💕love you my family

Wonderful!!!! Thank You For Sharing!!!!
Was this inspired by mot recent visit by William?
These videos are for the students in the Thursday morning class called Taiji for Meditation based upon Da Liu's teachings, as passed down to me from his senior student, Reggie Jackson. :)
Very good :)
Great set of videos. The best I have seen in a long time. Just like I learned them 30 years ago.
I enjoyed watching this. Thanks.
The first section was from when he taught in St. Louis around1970 to myself, J. Justin Meehan (who recorded this at the Yoga Center) and Carl Shavers, who were his first students before leaving to Cleveland, Ohio. There is much more to this video and I am guessing you got this from Stuart McKensie. I also wrote an article about he and the Chen Pan Ling Synthetic style for Black Belt Magazine.

That is about right. Jampa was only tangentially involved with the Rochester Center when I started in about 1989. I have a VHS of Kai Sung. Another Sifu was taught Sifu Sung's take on CPL's Thunderstick form. Did you learn this also?
謝謝大師,從佛羅里達州邁阿密
Thanks for sharing.
What I like about this demonstration is that the practitioner breaks up his martial art into three separate internal arts: Tai Chi...Baqua...Hy Shing Yi...in one video thus showing the difference...
