Fantastic!! I do however wonder if you need to correct the distortion much in post.
the lens is close to free of distorsion, you need to find es standpoint parallel to the object and you have a great effect of widenes

Hello Michael! Lovely images!! I've become aware of this lens and am keenly interested in acquiring one. I wonder, do you do much lens profile correction in post so the sides don't shift inwards as I've experienced with other WA lenses?
Hello, i try to avoid shifting on location by finding a perfect position for my compositions. Sometimes i need a correction in Photoshop or Lightroom and it works very well. If you know that you need post corrections you can choose a position with more distance to your spot.
1:34 Behold the distortion of even a rectilinear hyperwide lens. The one blade on the windmill is ginormus.

great photo! i have the 12mm voigtlander, but i was wondering if you use polarizing filter... i also have bombo zorro holder, but doesn NOT fit any polar filter.

This lens is all about vanishing point perspective. Looks as though, out of neccessity, every shot taken with it has to be composed with that in mind.
Hallo Herr Kästner Ihre Bilder, insbesondere mit den Voigtländer WW-Objektiven gefallen mit extrem gut. Ich trage mich mit dem Gedanken, mir zusätzlich zu meiner Ausrüstung eine Sony Alpha 7 R ii oder III mit einem Voigtländer-Objektiv anzuschaffen. Ich hätte nur noch eine Frage zu ihrer Bildentwicklung, da die Bilder immer sehr knackig und farbintensiv sind. Sicher liegt es auch an der Optik, doch aber auch an der Entwicklung. Vielleicht können Sie das mal kurz erläutern. Danke schon mal und weiter so.

you can use Filters from Haida, NiSi or Kase or others, depending on the holder you use, i have the Bombo Zorro and it works with 100mm Filters, you can find Bo Bom in one of the comments to this video

@@kunaltewari8059 you can use the Zorro Holder from Bombophoto, allows you to use 100mm filters

im Grunde egal da alles manuell ist, ich hatte beide und nutze jetzt die Mark3, einen Unterschied in den Bildern wirst du nicht sehen, der Bedienkomfort und die Akkuleistung ist bei der r3 ein Quantensprung

Can't decide whether to get the 10 or the 15mm, that price difference matters to me
the 10 is very special and you need special scenery for it, the 15 more common, Quality is perfect at both, you can check my profile at 500px to see examples from both lenses 500px.com/michaelkstner

it is very easy, use f11 and infinite and all is sharp ;-)
Simply a great and lovely lens. I use the Voigtlander 10mm on my Sony A7R2 and it is a dream of a lens. Recently went to Lake Baikal, amazing what possibilities this lens gives you for landscsape. if you like, visit me on Instagram at _lonelyphotographer_ where I added some pictures I took with this lens in Siberia.
Don't it drive you nuts that you can't put graduated filters on it?
Not at all. I rarely use filters anyway except CPL's but usually not on super wide angle lenses. A graduated filter can be replaced by proper composition and exposure.
Stefan1968ful Composition has nothing to do with differing light levels in an image.
That's not really correct. It matters how you select brighter and darker areas in your picture. I actually don't get your point here. I never missed any filter on this lens, it is simply great to use for landscapes. It might not work for you maybe but t that's not my issue actually.
using filters is no problem, check out the holders with adapters from NiSi (150mm) and BomboPhoto (100mm!) you find a lot of examples on my page kaestner.myportfolio.com
