This is the ultimate counter to the Jedi. truly it’s the sheer number of them that would have made it impossible for the Jedi to succeed regardless of fighting prowess, the element of surprise made it as effective of a tactic as it gets. The Jedi were very much so capable of kill 100s of not 1000 of clones at once but ultimately there were millions upon millions of them, along side probably not even wanting to kill the clones because they have fought along side them for so many years, there emotional conflicting alone would have clouded there judgment and caused their connection to the force to weaken and would have caused them to fight as a weakened less powerful version of themselves, if they even chose to fight at all. Their own trust in the system instead dog the force is what caused their downfall. The Jedi council caught wind of the conspiracy early and had a suspicion that the clones could potentially be a tool for the dark side as revealed in the clone wars series. But instead dog revealing the secret and stopping the plot before it was even started, the Jedi chose to keep it a secret and attempt to win the war quickly before the plan could be set in motion, all as a means to keep the public options support of the Jedi safe. They believed if news or suspicion of the clones being double agents were to get out then people would no longer support the Jedi and their war efforts. Only proving the point of Barris Offee,(asokas former friend and fellow Padowan who framed her for a bombing at the Jedi temple) right, that the Jedi had because war hungry hypocrites that were no longer peace keepers but were the very ones feeding into and fueling the very war they were trying to stop. They became killers, ones who sought victory by violence at any cost, being less of peacekeeper who defend for the sake defense and more of soldier who resort to violence first to get what they want and ask questions later. They had become more like the with then they ever realized and it’s exactly why they were incapable of sensing sidious plan. Truly an amazing story line one of the greatest betrayals of cinema history.

Always found this lightsaber duel far more entertaining than Obi Wan vs Anakin. The swings actually look like there meant to harm the opponent whereas a lot of the time, Obi Wan and Anakin’s looks like they just decided to have their lightsabers connect for no other reason than it looked cool.

I remember being a kid (24 now). But I vividly remember the emotions I went through watching this. It had such a grip hold on me compared to the previous Star Wars films. Although as I’ve grown up you cannot beat the old Star Wars, but this sequence of events was on another level.
