Exploring canazei on mtb, can my wife ride a black diamond trail - last stop mtb road trip
For the last stop of our 6 weeks mtb road trip we stopped in Canazei in the Dolomites. Exploring the area, riding the Sella ronda on a bike, and testing ourselves on Tutti Frutti, an enduro world series trail.

This is probably one of the highlights of our two month road tripping in Europe. Durmitor national park has it all. From rocky trails to forest, jumps, steeps rooty sections. Trail hunting in Durmitor paid off and we had a blast driving the circular route around the park! Definitely recommend it!

Our first stop in Montenegro was the bay of Kotor. A beautiful bay, with lots of campigs on the water for just 8€ per night. We spent a few days there exploring the old city of Kotor and we went up to the mosoleum where we met a german couple who saw us on the bikes and asked if there were trails in the area. Next stop of our European MTB van road trip zas OMIS. We started really early before the sunrise to avoid the heat. Going up the hill with the view on the sea and the islands was really magical. Then dropping into some very nice trails, loose ground but a lot of nice features!

The second stop of our trip and first stop in Croatia. This turned out to be a triple surprise. It was a nice village, basically center of art for croatia, the parking lot was perfect to stay the night with very clean toilets, and the trails where good. What more can you ask fore??

First stop of our two months road trip was at Lago di Ledro. It is a small lake just above Lake Garda. Perfect spot to go explore some of the trails. This one was Sentiero 454, probably the toughest trail I have ridden so far, which I would consider to be double black. In total I managed 55 km and 2200D on eco mode with range extender on my Orbea Rise M10 and I did not reach the last 20%! Very ...

After almost a year, I come back to Scheveningen Bikepart : Middenberm. The local guru Lars has worked hard with local crew to improve litterally every part of the spot and even build new jumps and lines. The result of this massive upgrade is a fantastic bike park in the center of den Haag! Keep rollin baby!!

I think we just followed trail forks. Two black trails close to zabljak. Bit hard to find though but worth the search

Hey, could you advise me where I can find this trail? Is it on Strava, Trailforks or some local maps? I'm going to this location in about 6 weeks so any bike tips are warmly welcome.
Hi Peter, the trail is on trail forks. It is very rough and chunky. Not super flowy but the views are very nice. It starts from the parking spot just before the barrier to go to the mosoleum. But if you have some time I would highly recommend going to zabljak. A bit more in the mountains. Gorgeous trails, flowy, techy, insane views. Then you can drive the Durmitor ring... Fantastic if you're not scared of mountain roads.

Hi Luk no I have no gpx. We were guided by MTB Verbier. It was pretty remote and you need to go through private lands to access it

I usually stay around the posbank. Blue section there is also nice in that part and they build some additional red sections in there. Bassicly do a quick loop and then string the red stuff together. So you don't have to do the whole route. That's to far and part of it is boring.

Oh man you really picked a time to ride there. Dry season and drunen is the worst. Go here the day after it rained so you can go twice the speed. Then it's still no Amerongen but pretty neat at least :)

Zelfde plek op mn bek twee jaar geleden. Otb gekicked en vol op nek geland. Is een vies scherp jumpje zonder echte landing. Hopelijk ook weer volledig hersteld!🤜

We started in Malmedy. I would say we were 5-6 hours per day on the bike. We're not the most cross country oriented guys so climbing went at our own pace ^^
