Flocking simulation in Rust 10K boids with 5 threads
Added multi-threading to the Rust implementation. This is running with 5 threads on a 14 core M4 Pro. That seemed to be the sweat spot. It makes a rather nice screen saver if nothing else 🙂.

I had the pleasure of taking my brother Marcus up for a fun flight around our land in Wisconsin. He turned 60 this year and it was a great way to celebrate his birthday. We also made the short flight down to the Mississippi River and over to Minnesota. A big thanks to the friendly folks at Gibson Aviation for renting the plane and taking care of us.
A fun flight out of Manassas to Culpeper and then on to Lake Anna.

Yeah, it was funny when we were talking to a couple local guys on the ramp they had no idea where I was talking about. Finally one of them said "Oh... you mean shatek". We had a good laugh.
Another great video to get me motivated to get back up in the air. I see your flight planner gives your glide speed and glide ratio - your gearing up to be a real pilot.

Sadly no burgers today. But soon I'm flying down to Charlottesville for some lunch. It's the $300 hamburger flight :|.

Great visibility, but it looked like you parked in a taxiway. Was that by agreement, or do they always tow in to the tie-down?
Marcus Niessen You pull in at a 45 in the taxiway and then push back into a tie down spot.
Do you have a GoFundMe page for a Steady Cam?
Like photographing your gulf swing, you get to see what you were doing and work on your landings. You could also set up a camera beside the runway for some outside shots.
Nice angle on the GoPro and nice job the Cessna172. The audio really sounded nice and clear. I've been having problems with that, my intercom picks up to much background but I have a few workarounds in mine. Nice job, let's see some more! Mike
