Thank you so much for this video, I actually had a homeschool group open house today and while I was looking for tips on how to present my group I came accross this video and I am glad I did. I started my group last year and it was just like 4 to 5 moms and I felt as if my group needed to be bigger to attract more families but today God blessed us with a great turnout and I met very nice moms in the community who were looking for a group like mine. I am blessed even if it's just 5 kids. Thank you for this! I was encouraged because I agree with being with likeminded parents even if that means that this will be a small group.

When you say test her, where did you test her to see what grade level they are at?

Does the school pay for all your curriculum?

Is your homeschool only core classes or is it also extras? When you homeschool on your own do you do every subject everyday?

Hey there! This is my second year homeschooling, do you have an opinion on Apologia? Do you have a co-op that you plug into? Do you do a science curriculum or history curriculum? I’m impressed with these and think it’s great to hone in on all those, so I’m wondering if I’m trying too hard to cover all the “typical school subjects” by having a curriculum for each course? I’m also new to your channel, so I’m sorry if you’ve covered these already!

My son loved the Notgrass OSSS when we used it a few years ago! I always recommend it to people when they're looking for a christian elementary history curriculum. We also enjoyed their choices for the read alouds. I would say we definitely had more fun with it once we got to part 2!

We just got the Answers in Genesis Curriculum and we’ve been looking at Notgrass and Apologia for my first grader! This is encouraging to see another mom picking these - definitely interested in a flip through on the Notgrass curriculum!

This is so refreshing to hear. My son is “technically “ supposed to go to third grade but on a first grade level currently. This is what really drove me to homeschool. I’m so happy for y’all! That’s so refreshing! ❤

We did TGTB last levels 2 and 3 last year and this year I am doing a separate spelling and grammar program and writing program and realized TGTB really isn’t that good and robust if I’m adding additional language arts components. 😆 I’ve really had to evaluate the actual benefits of TGTB besides it being the most eye pleasing curriculum on the market.

If anyone who has started a Co-Op could give me advice on how you handle the monetary aspect of your co-op, I’d appreciate it so much. Do we have to file with the IRS and all that? Even if we do it in our homes and pay for our own supplies? I’m overwhelmed but my area needs this.

I loved listening to your curriculum choices. I did TGTB for two years but will be switching ro Sonlight this year, but si have to say we did love it.
