Great video! Very helpful, thanks!
@Schmjac8 you welcome and thanks for watching 👍
Great video thank you. My 2017 with 220k KM started to make bearing noise....going to be way easier than my old VW...
You got this! It is a very easy procedure

Why does the harness on the website look different from your video?
It vary by year and model, that could be why, those part number are straight from gm bulletin
Thank you for the help.
You welcome 👍
Graciassssss
De nada 👍
What is the part number

I’m about to attempt this myself. But I have no idea how much fluid to let out. I don’t want to drain all of the coolant.
Lol it will drain itself once you take the thermostat out 2gallon 50/50 mix dexcool should be fine
Thank you! This video was easy to follow and straight to the point.
You welcome and thanks for watching
I wish I watched this before attempting to replace my wheel hub. Just ordered a replacement hub because I messed up the thread trying to free the axle from the hub (the punch did not work). The cv axle is seized up in the hub. I think I'm going to have to take the entire cv axle, hub, and knuckle out as one. Any advice when I try to free the axle from the transmission? I see you used a prybar, but I don't want to damage the seal. Also, how hard should I push before hearing the "click" when installing the cv axle? Thanks
Great Video Thanks. Also, if doing a brake job, does it make sense to change the brake fluid? To avoid calipers jaming later on?
You welcome and thanks for watching, i would have the dealer change the brake fluid, those truck will have all knind of light on if not bled properly then you most likely need a scantool to do it
Don’t you have to do the screws in order and 71lb
I have a 21’ v8 5.3L Silverado Im getting this jerking or skipping feeling from my truck when I accelerate, i have no lights on my dashboard so i have really no clue what it could be (i have 90k miles). But anyways i started looking around for solutions to this “skipping”, ive found a list of things to change and im starting off with my spark plugs, i just wanted to ask you if there are any sensors i should watch out for? For example when i changed out my brake pads i accidentally damaged a sensor and then my truck was limited to 40mph.
@deliajuarez8508 what transmission do you have?8spd 6spd or 10spd ,generally those spark plug don't go out that early
@@steevegmtech7326 i have a 6spd transmission, do you think thats whats causing the jerking?
Most likely, even more so in the 8spd
What will happen if I leave it out because I hate the auto stop

Is this the same process for 2018 GMC TERRAIN SLE?
@@freedouglas23 yes it is
What software is that?
@@peRFectjaguar it is the GM software, Techline connect
This guy pulls these parts like butter and I was shaking the f out of them. Would of broke things if I wasn't patient
What are the lug size
19mm
Did you buy the kit or just replace pads. I wonder if you can reuse the sensor?
You must replace the sensor. To get it at 100% again. It’s one sensor in front and the other in the back
If you replaced the brake pads after receiving the "Service Brake Pad Monitor" message on DIC, you'll need to erase the fault codes in the EBCM before resetting the pad life. I was able to erase these using my local Autozone's scan tool at no charge. My fault code for rear brakes was C116B "Rear Brake Pad Wear Signal Circuit - Not Plausible".
Thank you your instructions were perfect👍💯
You welcome and thanks for watching 👍
What did you say? Not flush ignition coil?
Sadly, I never thought of putting the rotor on temporarily to clean it--much better than trying to do it off the car.
My guy, how did you get that 18 mm caliper bracket bolt off? The bottom one. I cannot for the life of me get the damn thing off.
@JayPoster490 🤣🤣you need 18mm swivel 1/2 or 3/8 with a 12 inch extension, also the rule of thumb is to always the top bolt first then bottom do the reverse for installation
Well shoot. I went out and got myself some swivels. 3/8. 1/2. Multiple extension pack. My friend, this bottom bolt is something else. I took a torch to it. WD-40. No rust it's close to being new. It is the only thing in my way of finishing up this brake job.
@@JayPoster490bro same problem. Any luck? I refuse to pay for my brake job
@@HiiiGHLIFE1 Take the same advice dude said earlier. Use the same swivel, extension, and normal shorty 18mm impact socket. I don't have a air tank so I bought harbor freight Bauer 1/2 impact wrench. I got a torch and PB penetrating fluid. Spray the penetrating fluid, then leave the torch flame on the bolt for about 10/15 minutes then after that spray a few more shots of that penetrating fluid on it again. The heat should suck the fluid in and then use the impact. I got it off the next day after my first comment. If you can't afford a big ugga dugga wrench then see if any of your friends will let you barrow one. I hope my advice helps.
@@HiiiGHLIFE1 also the torch I used was just the normal bernzomatic blue tank that comes with the click head. 20 bucks at Lowe's give or take. PB blaster penetrating fluid harbor freight less than 5 bucks.
i have this issue, take it to the dealer?
Yes the shifter is easy to install but it will need to be programmed and calibrated to the vehicle with the gm software
how long to wait? do dealers have the part? or does it have to be ordered?
@Miguel-fh7bv it is pretty common on those trucks but somehow we always have to order them , the good thing the truck is still drivable, most customers take it home, since he transmission still shifts fine
@@steevegmtech7326alright! thanks for helping me! monday i’ll stop by my dealer and have them order this under warranty!
Hi just a front alignment or all 4
I would do all 4 to prevent tire wear
Ok unfortunately that's almost 200 bucks here 😢 thx
Torque on cover?
How long should the disassemble and reassemble take in total
Roughly 1.5 hr
This was the only thing that worked for me ! Thanks !
you don’t even show how to replace it ? that’s a waste of video
I'm doing a recall,it is just a vlog, what were you trying to do
I changed mines and now the reduced engine mode comes on when I start my truck but with the broken one it wasn’t coming on right away 🤔🤔
You probably left something loose, then it created a vacuum leak
Nonsense.. you cut how difficult it was to remove e the pump .
That's the easiest part of it, you missing something
Im working on a 2020 Chevy Blazer. Do i need a scan tool for the front brakes?
Not at all, here is the link on how to do it ruclips.net/video/GhfxzX6eYfc/видео.html
Can you make a water pump tutorial for this type of truck?
I think I'll just stick to wiggling the shift knob every time i get that message xD
🤣🤣🤣not as bad as it looks ,trust me
Good joob
Thank you 👍
I have a P0089 an P228D p0013 for a 2012 Buick regal 2.4l any tips?
I think it is the same procedure ,quite common on those 2.4
So far not working on a 2020 Equinox. The light comes on but does not flash.
Did you miss a step
@@steevegmtech7326 I don't believe so. It's fairly straightforward. The light would turn on and then went out when I released the button. It never flashed.
Do you have any code set in the brake module
It’s happening to me Suburban 2024 I don’t find the conector in the driver seats any help please
Take it to the dealer , it should be covered under warranty 3 year/36k miles, don't mess it with it
@@steevegmtech7326 thank you brother It hasn't been shown again in a few days. I'll wait to see if it comes out again. 🫡🫡
