Germi Kyna is an Italian indie rock / lo-fi musical project by Germano Poli, musician and photographer from Bergamo.

The author's creative process is influenced by the alternative sound of the 90s and 2000s, which he defines as an extraordinary palette of sounds and colors that ranges between noise, indie, post rock and shoegaze sounds. Band of reference: Afterhours, Marlene Kuntz, Timoria, La Sintesi, Yuppie Flu, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Gathering, Sigur Ros.

Cinema and literature also contribute to contaminating Germi Kyna's sound; songs like "Fantasmi Ok" and "Come Samara" denote a subtly penetrating supernatural component, typical of the Kinghian universe and of the crunchiest j-horror. The themes of the lyrics raise questions about life, death, adolescence and the inevitable passage of time.

The author has two self-produced albums to his credit: “Germi Kyna” (2022) and “Il Ritorno del Cavaliere Elettrico” (2023), a collection of demos and b-sides made from 2003 to today.
