Damn… I miss bass fishing with big bait’s… out here in Southern California the lakes are extremely over pressured and mis managed plus the prices of rental boats are ridiculous! I’ve mostly been fishing off the beach ( and doing quite well ) in front of my house! The last time I threw big baits was two years ago in Tennessee but unfortunately, I got into it with some good ole boy’s after an evening of drinking moonshine and am banned from both Applebee’s and the small town my friends live in… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣

Love what you did with the jig hook shad. I have a real prey shiner and the line tie is behind a big lip and it catches SO MUCH grass in my Texas ponds. Refuses to come off even with braid to leader massive rod snaps so I have to pull the hydrilla off nearly every cast. Will certainly be getting one of yours asap

Frog hook burrito is awesome. I watched this one twice.

noon to 3pm is when 80% of my big bass are caught, but I have that all my big one are off the prime moon window (even on big swimbaits). Just show you different timing in different types of water.

I get alot of big bites in similar areas close to me when I finish my cast.

I got bit there with Dave fishing deep on his boat a year or two ago and missed it. I’ve always said that looks like a good area and sure enough

Really like the way the hook stays on via pressure against those nubs on the new 6" Shad. Thats makes a lot of sense all around. Great stuff Gail.
