“Why anyone has to go” - Preview of a new John Mayer Song!!
Great stuff, love this version
Great music, excellent musicians and what an interesting looking venue!👍👏👏👏
Thank you for uploading this!!
So talented and lovely.❤
Really fine. Great singing and playing. (Yes, they are professionals, but there are a lot of pros out there with a lot of con to their credit.)
Thank you for coming and making such a great recording Lindsey! 🙌
The prices Martin charges for their guitars one would think they should come standard with the liquid metal bridge pins.
For the record, this piece of music is called Slipknot. It's traditionally played as the transition between Help on the Way and Franklin's Tower. It's an ensemble piece played well over a hundred times by the Grateful Dead and never the same way twice. Yes, it is well suited to Mayer's talents. Yes, it is far more than simply a John Mayer solo.
amen...and don't forget, he's doing this with 3 fingers on the fret bar...
And again today. This is simply an outrageous rendition love the steel guitar style. Heaven. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is lifeless and brutal.
Yeah all 18,000 of us were really upset at seeing the great Bobby Weir still rocking in his late '70s. Thanks for stopping by!
These graphics are pretty cheesy compared to what Phish did at this place.
More than anything….im glad to see Dear Bobby having fun. I can hear the sadness in his voice and longing for old times and friends…I’m with you Bob..! I could never thank him enough for what he’s done for me and everyone else. I am forever ♾️ Grateful…..y’all be good to old freaky frets….! Tom
Fxckin righteous to no end
Lil tech difficulty but Sall good
I'm Godsmacked
First. Nice jams!
I did exactly the same!! I dont think I heard a difference. I am now switching back to the originals. They look much better instead of these red ones…. Problem is I lost 1 OEM pin so now I ordered a new set. Plastic came with a reason I think…
RIP Rex. Big Blue Nation forever cause that's all we got
I wish he spoke and explained what each part, why, and how he was putting it together.
finally someone did it right
Not sure if this account is still monitored, but thank you for putting this together. I was stationed at DLI 2011-2012, and my favorite part of the week was going to Duffy's to hear Rex play. There was one night I was at another joint and I heard Rex, but he was doing a cover of "Over at the Frankenstein Place". I freakin LOVED it. The next time I saw him at Duffy's, I was talking to him on break and mentioned how incredibly moving his cover was. He said that he has different set lists depending on where he's playing, so he doesn't perform that one at Duffy's. That said, right after his break, he went and played it for me. From that point forward if I was in the bar, he would play it. Also had the pleasure of his family coming in to listen one time. They all started singing together and it was a lovely night. I took a few videos of him playing and I still pull them up to jam out to. Cheers, my friend! You're definitely missed
Soy el de verde que llegó en la lancha a sacar el velero ⛵
Im saddened to hear the news of Rex’s passing today. Thank you Lindsay for posting. Rex and his music will play on in my memories of my younger years. I loved listening to him at the London Bridge and at that sweet spot at the old wharf.
👍
Nicely played. 👍🏼
You've got a good thing goin there, keep it up. I've not unboxed my Aeros Studio Looper yet, photography takes precedence during the warm months and I'll get back into my ambient guitar looping sessions during the cold months! 😎
Yummmmmmmmmy. Still jamming to this. 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍🙏
Muchisima Gracias 🙏🏽 I got a theory about why she didn’t go to the 🏠 of fun. He forgot to invite her to…
Thank you Lindsay!! I’m ashamed to admit that this was first time hearing this song at the festival. It was the only song Jack played that I didn’t know that night❤ imagine not knowing Bob Dylan’s whole catalog❤
Thanks Lindsay! I recently picked up this Singular Sound combination. I helps me to hear, and see a variety of folks demonstrate their use. Subscribed.
Ebony pins match really well with mahogany
err i'm cringing
yea baby ...
Esta muy cabron este cover, que joya
Nice Dobro 😅
This is really good😊
Sounds so soothing to my ears
A bridge pin upgrade really needs a saddle upgrade to go with it. A bone saddle will be a substantial change for the better 👍🏻. Martins come with a bone nut but have a tusq saddle
Personally, I could not change the saddle on any of my Martin guitars, that would be done by a qualifed Martin guitar luthier. I've never replaced the bridge pins, and now you've got me wondering if I should get both the pins and saddles replaced on my Martins. Both are less than 10 years old - D28 and GPC PA4.
@TC_Conner It's the most simple upgrades one can do. Your local music store should easily be able to handle it for you.
@@JohnnyRebKy I don't have a "local" music store, unfortunately. I have to take them to a music store in Pittsburgh, about an hour and a half from where I live. But I've taken them there before and trust them to do good work.
This is the best comment here. Bridge pin upgrades seem futile without the bone nut/saddle. Given that someone has already made that upgrade, I think it would be interesting to see someone make a vid comparing metal, rosewood, bone and plastic bridge pins to see which one best suits each tone wood. Does brass enhance the high frequencies of mahogany? Does bone enhance the bass response of rosewood? And then how does string material factor into that? The longer I play the more I realize how little I know. lol
@@DustyFieldz There is tons of videos about testing the diff materials on here. Just gotta search and sift through them. Enjoy the journey of never ending opinions on which ones do what lol. But its very true the materials do make a difference. Some are just more subtle than others,
Destined to be yet another classic 'hurts like a John Mayer Song,' it makes a good point. Why has anyone got to go? Who started this behavior and why? John makes us think about this taken for granted phenomenon that's breaking everybody's heart. Delving into the deep again John remains A Genius, A Master, The Man and THE KING .❣💡🌟💎👑
Quick smoking dork
HEY THANKS! for telling us about Out Midi from the Beat Buddy goes to the In Midi on the looper.. I thought it did but....didn't know for sure... My AEROS straight out of the box isn't recognizing the midi... so I was starting to wonder... Also it seems everybody else's video just says we'll get to explaining the midi on another video...so you have to watch ten other videos to find out.. lol
thanks !!!!
My liquid metal pins arrive today (chrome) $99. My only hope is they are more durable as my wooden pins tend to crack or break after a few months of heavy playing and frequent string changes. My hearing stinks so I don’t care about tone as much as I’m hoping I can use these expensive metal pins for 3-5 years before they crack or fail. Thank you for your video!
The original 1928 sound with the zeppelin feel
