That is my Dad, Brendan Farrell in the diving suit, there were two lads turning a manual pump for the air, the rope in his had was to signal for more or less air, too much air would stop him from being able to move his arms. The event was an open day run by the Waterford Harbour Sub Aqua Club as part of a national adventure sports promotion weekend. Probably late 70's early 80's judging by the size of my sister!
Oh wow that’s incredible! My grandad who took the film is John Flynn and my uncle who is helping him into the suit (wearing the leather jacket) is David Flynn, they both were into diving. 😊
