The d line of the bears outside of sweat doesn’t have a lot of depth but the bears secondary outside of Jaylon Johnson is good because they got some young guys who are entering their prime and Kevin byard was a good addition to the bears defense
The Bears this season will live or die by how well their investment in their offense in the draft will go. I don't think they are a playoff team, I speak as a Chicago native. However I do think they will have a winning record.
Very charitable predictions. The Saints are going to be in a stagnant state for the upcoming years since they have very few wiggle room money wise. Most of their cap is going to players *not* on the team anymore and I definitely have no hope in their offense in general especially with Derrek Carr. I am mildly optimistic on their defense since they have Kool-Aid now but he's a rookie regardless.
Yeah I agree I think the defense is kinda average in my opinion but they got some players on defense who are slowing down a bit and will regress but I think their offense is below average because their red zone offense isn’t great and Derek carr is regressing and their o line is regressing too
NFC South is always an interesting division. Much like the central divisions in MLB, the southern divisions of the NFL come off as the weakest divisions. The biggest issue I think the Falcons have is the QB status. You have an aging Kirk Cousins but also an older draft pick in Penix who has an injury history. I think the Falcons only win the division if Mayfield regresses and Dave Canales's QB power of boosting QBs fails on a younger guy like Bryce Young.
G;ad I'm not the only one who thinks the Texans will push forward this season. I think the Texans will dominate the AFC South for a while, especially if Anthony Richardson makes his return and doesn't learn from his injuries, which I do hope he does. Dude is awesome on the field

Fields is a far more accurate passer as well as a better rusher. So No Matter What, it's possible for GMs to make bad assessments, & for college success to not translate to the NFL. Now if you want to discuss whether that was more Fields or the play-calling & coaching, Fields *_did_** call out* those publicly after week 7 of '22. & you know what the Entire Bears Team said as a response? Absolutely Nothing. _Nothing!_ Not the team owner who should at least wonder _if_ he was paying some coach tens of thousands of $ & that coach was sabotaging His Team. Not the HC whose job _should hinge_ upon making it work with this QB. Not the GM whose entire career could be haunted or end if he trades away a great QB only to find out he wasn't the problem but the play-calling was. How were _none_ of these people concerned about Their Team or careers? Either they thought Fields was So Crap there was no point answering him. Or something else was afoot.

How do the Cardinals lose to the Patriots and Panthers? That is the worst take I have ever seen. Patriots offense is so bad. Panthers offense was also bad last season. In Week 18 49ers will have nothing to play for cause they will already have locked up a playoff spot so they will rest starters. Cardinals have an underrated offense and their defense isn't good but they do have key pieces that may slow other teams down. Seahawks? Playoffs? Yeah right the Seahawks will be last in the division especially with a new head coach and no actual quarterback that is consistent. Bills won't get used to their roster because they lost Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Jordan Poyer, Tredavius White, and so much more. Their wrs are mostly garbage like Chase Claypool and MVS. Keon Coleman can't carry the team. Josh Allen is good at running but that won't be enough. Floor? 2-15 or 3-14? Heh yeah no. They went 4-13 (would have been 5-12) last year with Kyler missing half the season with no true WR1 their floor is 6-11. Ceiling is not 8-9 thats probably 12-5. They will have to pull off a HUGE upset over a team. Chargers and Bears aren't really much of an upset IMO.
