In a conversation between Jennifer and Natalie, Natalie says she loved it when they would go on stage and people would stare at Jennifer thinking no way she could play the guitar :) On another instance Natalie mentioned how hard Jennifer tried to convince Natalie to buy 2 giant Marshalls, and after that during each practice session Natalie would go "Jenniferrrr!!" and Jennifer would reply, "Ok I am turning it down", and at every soundcheck on stage Natalie would ask the sound guy how everything sounds from the stage, and the answer was the same each time: " You are all good except Jennifer is too high :)

What a great capture. I can't get over how young Natalie looks... I was 10 years old and obsessed with her. Now I'm 39 and they all look 15 years old.... singing songs that are now legendary. And today, they'd have to be shaking their bare asses to have the same fame they have here. Everyone would be on their phone. Here, everyone is present, and engaged. Makes me long for this time

I was a stage lighting technician on this Oldfield European Tour in 1980 and this show featured not only the Mike Oldfield Band but Roxy Music, Dire Straits and Talking Heads . What about that for a line up !

I can feel his need to just be in his studio creating doesn't seem like he wanted to be bothered at all by the fame and politics , just leave me be and let me be as natural as God wants. nowadays talent is a archaeologist job , you have to find new things or else youll think there was nothing good out there

The session drummer Oldfield used in the studio for 'Taurus' and 'Sheba' soon found himself rather busy by the early 80s. Needless to say he did not go on tour with Oldfield.
