How you feel about this kit. Is it good to fit with every parts and details? I was considered to get it a while ago because it's the only one 72 scale SEPV2, although later I pick Flyhawk M1A2 SEP, and plus SEPV2 print customized parts.

Hi, i have problem when i do panel wash, i paint with tamiya acrylic then i coat it with ( vallejo ultra matt polyurethane varnish mixed with tamiya color acrylic paint x-20a thinner 50/50 ), the problem is when i clean the wash with cotton swabs moisturizer with the same thinner the paint comes out. Can you tell me what the wrong, i need you advice…..regards

Seem to remember there was nothing fast build about this kit, lots of fiddly parts! It’s one of those kits I never got round to finishing, it’s painted and sits with my other Japanese tanks at the moment waiting for some interesting finish to come up, maybe a winter one.

For the best T 90A out of the box, you need to combine the Zvezda T 90A turret and upper hull with a Revell T 90 or 90A lower hull. Zvezda has the best upper hull details but an incorrect lower hull and Revell have a correct lower hull but incorrect turret. The Modelcollect T 90A was one of their first releases and has a few incorrect details. This is just for general information and not a criticism of your building and painting.

I have a love/hate relationship with this kit and Modelcollect in general, love that they are/were (no long in production) doing them, hate the over simplification on some of the parts. Went the route of rebuilding the entire interior and turret basket, can’t see a thing when assembled 😤

Well done with the PE not the worst thing about this kit but the most fiddling bit.

Can i use tamiya pannel line direct to model paint with acrylic tamiya and then wash it with x20a thinner??

Are these all 1/72 or are they all slightly oversized? I got the ZBD 04 which is slightly large and it has put me off getting any others, might still get them anyway, it’s always fun trying to enhance the detail, just show them separately from my others. I know they are toys more than models but they are about the only Chinese vehicles available, unless you want to pay for the ready made stuff.

What Tamiya paint did you use to make the Russian dark green? Can I have the paint code?
