So once again in the fall, The Overland the Red event came back to Callies Campground in Stanton KY. Hosted by Northology Adventures and with a whole slew of vendors set up, this year was a hit!!! (as always!) My friends from @ohnoadventures were gracious enough to let us camp next to them and feed us and even share video content, which gave me the freedom of not trying to get the perfect shots...

Look... there are a ton of different grab handles out there by a ton of different manufacturers. I don't know which ones are the best, but I do know that the steel ones are pretty good! I am not going to bother with putting a link in the description, but I got these from amazon for around $30. If you have a Jeep JK, I can whole heartedly say that these are a good buy.

So I bought a 180 awning from my buddy Fletch at All Things Overlanding because he got a new 270 and that forced me to get something to mount it to...see how that works? lol Anyway this is an install video of me putting it on my Ram 2500. @@bonzaiberger I'm east of Middletown, OH...Do you have any maps of the Madison loops? Love to hit those this fall. Also have you gone through Bonnell area in Dearborn Co.? Haven't been there in years but used to be great gravel roads and several creek crossings. It is off Rt 1, near Guilford.
I do not have any maps of the Madison loop yet, but I am working on it. I tried to show all of the turns on my video but I didn't label the roads so I am sure that it is difficult if you don't know the area. I put that route together using gravelmap.com/map#_=10/38.8634/-85.2487
@mikedouglas1191 also I live very close to Bonnel and drive through it often. That's where I did my soft ride suspension video.

Great install video, I hope we get to see the build this fall at one of the next couple events! We hope you love the rack! We have a few tips and tricks that might help get your trifold folding, give us a ring tomorrow and we'll see if any of those do the trick!

I love the back roads of southern Indiana... Extremely underrated.
I agree. I wish that we had more dispersed camping opportunities but honestly, there are campgrounds all over to make an overlanding/sightseeing adventure possible.

So something nots engaged, looks like he is out wheelin trying to get experience, he will get more when he wenches himself out later today after getting stuckk because he does not know how to drive and having not pre tensioned his wench, he will learn another valuable lesson next time he tries to use it. Of course after he calls the manufacture saying its defective because it will not unspool after he used it once. Live and learn. He will get better.

@@jamesakemon4115 okay the line he chose was not the best but with more flex he could have easely make it and he did not have to take care about the line much. Have flex and locker = relaxed riding.
I own a two-wheel drive 94 Toyota pickup that would have rolled right through there no problems.

That's how open differentials work. The passenger front tire was climbing up the little bit of a ledge, just enough to flex and take the weight off of the rear tire and the water made the rock slippery.
looks good! i have a 2019 Power Wagon i did the Thuren front an d rear track bar, all four springs and fox shocks. I went with the Octane Bumpers front and rear and mouted the ARB Twin compressor in the ram box. I also used the ARB breather extender to run the front and rear axel, transfer case and transmissions breathers all the way to the top of the firewall in the engine bay just to be safe. love it
Right on! If I ever get rid of this truck I will be replacing it with a Power Wagon.

Memories....
I have a dodge front axle and dodge suspension under my suburban and man I would like to have those springs and shocks under the front of my burb.. but will probably have to go with a cheaper skyjacker springs due to budget.
That's awesome! Do you have video of it on your channel? I'll get on there and look around. I don't know how much the skyjacker coils are, but these are currently $360 on the Thuren website.

Also, the shocks ate up most of my budget, but man are they worth it. www.americantrucks.com/ram-2500-accessories-parts-2010.html is where I have been getting alot of my parts. They run great deals all of the time.
