Tour of our future homestead- First Video
Boy I'm in the Mena area and being new to here didn't realize just rocky the soil was until I tried too dig my first hole and I couldn't make it 4-6 inches. Guess I need to buy that iron bar.
@idahoduckhunter yeah, it's rough here. It's called a tamping bar (or digging bar), which is usually my weapon of choice when digging.
What is the point of this if we cant see what you are doing?
Excited to see finished project
Happy New Moon 🎉

Awesome!
Sweet!
Wow intense!
I love the Coton de Tulear + homesteading. #blessed
I think you're really brave to share this. I love how your decision to try something new led you to your wife, a fulfilling life with land, and true freedom. Following the ways of Messiah (not our ego or expectations of others) leads to true blessing.
Chiropractic changed my life, I used to suffer from Vertigo which made it difficult to function at work. After I went to Dr. Hall, he made some corrections and I never suffered from Vertigo again. Despite what you might think of Chiropractic, I'm so glad I took your advice to see Dr. Hall even though I was skeptical.
Did you listen to the whole video?
You should go fox hunting
They seems hard but then again I've never looked into it.

I would not think that Arkansas would be a suitable environment to go Passion Fruit, but it's cool that it does grow in that area.
Yes, I was very surprised as well. It was my friend who pointed out their flower's to me, even then I couldn't believe it. But turns out it's native to the Southern US, called Passiflora incarnata, if you wanted to research more about it.
They are given by God for us. Praise God for providing.
You eat goats? Wow, how non American cuisine.....
Yes, most Americans don't eat goat. They are missing out if you ask me.
@@HomesteadingWithCotons I've heard the same thing said about squirrel, gophers, and opossum....I'll stick to non sac rificial animals
@@CRoo-zu5ij not sure exactly what you are meaning, but squirrel, gophers, and opossum are biblically unclean animals and would not be used in a sacrifice. We only eat animals that are determined clean based on Leviticus 11.
@@HomesteadingWithCotons yeah so is consuming other's sacrifices in accordance to the New Cove n ant, Acts 15...this IS a Christian nation. Our abundance comes from God not greed.
@@HomesteadingWithCotons If Americans wanted to eat sheep and goats there would be numerous recipes for them and we would have all grown up eating goat sausage and making mutton gravy. Instead, it's not considered (much like squirrel, opossum, etc) even though you can buy one for $40 bucks. For several decades the m industry has tried to promote lamb and yet its what We, the People are willing to feed our dogs...for a reason.
I've seen mint runners go 4-5 feet and get into other beds, they are tenacious. Excellent garden.
Thank you!
That's too bad you lost a baby goat but it's cool you will soon have a vineyard.
Yeah and it was my fault. But we it's a learning experience.
Nice fence dude! Remember to protect your crops from the rabbits, squirrels, and coons. They will show up. Looking good.
That fence looks really cool, at a price of only $4 per log I think that's a great deal. I like that you added scripture to the fence as well.
Thank you Josh! Thankfully $3-$4 a log is the going rate around here. I have cedar trees on our property but not enough that I'd be willing to clear all out. In the winter I like to see the green from the cedar so I've rarely taken any down.
Heck yeah! The progress is amazing. We need to get out there and see it in person. Huge love bro!
Haha they know your voice!!
Oh wow, that's awesome! They are well trained
