I consider the best episode with Mike Franks to be the one where Jenny Shepard dies and Mike is the only person left alive after the shootout!

This now confuses me! In Origins, Jackson Gibbs has already met Franks

NCIS origins made a mistake. They made franks and Jackson meet. But clearly this is the first time they met.

So in Origins he already knows Franks…

This "Meet Mike Franks" moment is seemingly contradicted by NCIS: Origins episode "Mothman". According to "Mothman", - SPOILERS - Mike and Jackson have not only met before, but they have on several occasions. Jackson took issue with Mike for letting Pedro Hernandez flee to Mexico, and recruiting Leroy into NIS. Mike and Jackson know each other and Leroy KNOWS they know each other. Now, we COULD choose to read the scene this way: Jackson doesn't ask "Leroy, who is this guy?". He asks Franks how he got past the agents guarding the house. Leroy's "Meet Mike Franks." response could be interpreted as sarcasm, a way of saying there's more to Franks than his father already knows, namely Franks' stealth. Neither Jackson nor Mike give any real indication as to whether or not they already know each other. This might have given the writers or show runners the needed wiggle room to add those interactions between Jackson Gibbs and Mike Franks to Leroy's back story.

Currently watching the new origins. Has gibs dad talking to Mike like they know each other but they didn’t meet until here. Big plot hole.

What does Gibbs do besides interrogation? Everyone else figures everything out. He's just duh...

Mike Franks is scary as hell. His character is the kind of guy who would kill you and happily sit on your corpse to eat lunch. He really should have had his own series.

I hate this character. She got underneath my skin so much. I also hate she called Gibbs “mister” instead of “agent”.

What's sad is how different it could have been had she simply refused the phone call. Instead she showed him how unimportant he was to her by leaving.

Lol. Now Gibbs is falling in love with Jacqueline "Jack", I hope and Gibbs use to call Mike Franks "Cowboy", which is what Sloane now calls him.

I can't help it, but I never cared for how it seemed Gibbs' Father always put him and his job down until his last appearance on the show.

I like this Episode in particular Holly Snow and how Gibbs saw how good she was to be Selling herself short and just looked at her like you don't need to be doing that, it's kind of like he is a father figure to her almost See People all somebody really needs in life, is somebody it could be anybody to say to somebody who is in their darkest places to say You matter and you're somebody Starting Today make it your mission, you see a homeless person take them in, help them, you see a young girl prostituting herself give her money to go home, you see a young boy about to go down a dangerous parth of gangs hold him back.
