I tried to watch this, but I just can't. It reminds me too much of my dad and how much he loved this team.

Worked at The University of Texas for 27 Years and in that time my son ended up in the Longhorn Band. Never get tired of seeing them come out in the field.

What I like most about this video: The First Flags in the step-off were the ORIGINAL TEXAS LONG-POLE FLAGS from about 60 years ago; the short-pole flags following them was simply copying the high-school flag programs throughout Texas... (In 1966-67, one of my roomies was a Long Pole Flag Bearer. The BEST!) P.S At that time, the LHB Drum Major didn't "Lead The Band"; They Knew What To March! But the DM stood in the endzone, doing steeple-tossing, and catching almost all of them.

They took a page from the Aggie Band drill.
