Wild Chukar Hunting in North America over the best Long Hollow Bird Dogs in the Country. We spent the day with my buddy Colton Honey and his two Shorthairs. We found some time to run a couple young dogs and get them on some birds. We moved a ton of birds on this day but the highlight was the exceptional work we got from Cash and Lottie. Birds are extremely flighty this time of year but we were able to take one very large Chukar.

Wild Chukar Hunting in North America over the best Long Hollow Bird Dogs in the Country. Spent the day with some of my favorite Dudes and Dogs. We put 14 miles on our Crispi boots and over 40 miles on our Bird Dogs. Denny was a bird finding machine and Moose and Uda rounded out a great team for the day.

Time to get the puppies out on some wild birds. Jett and Lucy are two young Setters that we are very excited about and they have a few good outings this season already.

Would not recommend long hollow I purchased a black lab there for my sons 16 th birthday brought him back at six months to be started, unfortunately Covid happened finally got our dog back and was gun shy. With no explanation or concern from this outfit I now have a new very expensive non hunting pet, this was to be my son’s first hunting dog! He has since turned out to be a great family companion.I have been a upland hunter and water Fowler for nearly 30 years with many great dogs and trainers behind me now , long hollow was not one of them.
Love the videos! Would love to see you guys do a voice over of your videos and maybe even run GoPros too if possible.

Nice! Is your orange and whites female setter from circle B? What e collar stim setting do you use on the neck for whoa? Nick or constant stim?
@@juddthalman1422 yes she is. I don’t give stim for whoa. I only use stim as a correction for disobedience or lack of effort. And level of stim varies depending on each situation.

Billy is the best friend of friends. This video was so nice to see, after all the years with Ryan and the fam, it's great to see a salute to him. Before all these polished videos, there was Billy and Ryan in the field.

Brother my puppy is 10 weeks and she runs for the bumper when I throw it grabs it but does not come back to me just sits what can I do to fix it or what am I doing wrong and how can I fix me to help her
That can be a tough evaluation without seeing the dog. Try a hall way or some kink of corridor where there is only one direction the puppy can go and that is back to you. Try shorter sessions. Keep it fresh. when the pup does bring it back to you be sure to not take it right away. Let her posses it... Figure out a way for her to want to and be comfortable returning to you...

Ryan, keep making more videos, I have learned a lot from them. I have a pup coming from Bigcottonwoodretrievers this summer and I'm planning to do most of the training myself.
