Andrew Davis is a filmmaker known for directing several thrillers, most notably the Academy Award-nominated box-office hit The Fugitive (1993), starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. The film received seven Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and earned Jones a Best Supporting Actor award.
Davis garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Director and a Directors Guild of America nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Direction.

Watched The Package for the first time today. Mr. Davis is loyal to a lot of his actors. Seen many of actors that were in his earlier movies. I respect that. Today it's about who can help bring in the most people to the box office. Today's directors don't care about anything except what can get them that next movie. 😮

Excellent. Checking up on your status and found this today. Ex-union film worker here (Chicago Southside to LA), and been to your sets. Best naturalistic action filmmaker ever! Stony Island, Fugitive, and The Package seem like the same world to me. All left lasting impressions. Spent a rare winter returning to Chicago. What I learned.....Never come back here!!!
