こんにちは。佐賀の方ですね!僕も生まれは佐賀市内で祖母が白石にいました。何より気になったのがニール・ヤングレプリカのレスポール。すごすぎます。。音も最高ですね!!!
Tune that guitar =(
God damn... that is a dark and awesome amp. Did you have to see your soul for that? Idd like one of these ASAP. Can you tell me the original speaker?
Thank you for your good rating comments. It had original Gibson Alnico speakers in 1938. Unfortunately, about two years ago, the corn blew off. Now I have a built-in 12 inch of Celestion Alnico Gold Speaker

An important video. Bluesnao, what's the guitar you're using? All I can tell is that it's got the Les Paul form.
exappler relppaxe Thank you for your comment. This is GIBSON LESPAUL produced in 1980. However, it has been greatly modified. With a bigsby tremolo, the pickup is a mini humbucker on the rear and P90 on the front. All the wiring inside is made of General Electric telephone lines from the 1940s.
@@nao-ph2qv Thanks for the info.
Nice, thanks for sharing. I've been listening to Charlie Christian lately and viewing the vid is the closest one can imagine to hearing him live during his lifetime.
Well done
What a grungy angry sounding little amp ,sounds amazing !
does this have the same Old Black wiring? If so, could you tell me how it's done? toggle switch that bypasses volume and tone control in neck and bridge position and phase inverter in middle position?
That Electrodynamic drived Amp was made for voice and instrument combo amplification. In 1938 valve saturation was not perceived as pretty addition, from the amp, to sound response. It was seen as pure distortion. The amp should not sound overdrived. If it wasn't your intention, I hope is your preamp instead your output valves biasing.
Billy Thanks!!
Awesome!!!
dude! this vintage amp rocks! it has a nice amp overdrive!
Wow that amp is just crap!!!! go with Marshall or Mesa or Peavey.
Almost forgot this was RUclips - almost clapped for you mate.. Well done. Thanks for this.
On some old records, guitarists in the 1940s-1950s had a distorted sound. But not many. At that time, bands were "cleaned up" for recording. When bands played live, the amps were probably turned up much louder.
rockme1337 When 50's, at noisy bar,Blues mucisian play must loud. This amp has two channel,Inst channel and Mic channel. Mic channel is louder than Inst channel. Ofcouse Blues musician shoud choice Mic channel. It's loud,but full volume tone get overdriven. Blues man use full vol,and plugged in guitar1....... Thas times, The Rock sound was born!
Makes me wonder why was there no rock and roll in the 40's ... and the satuaration sounds fuzzy because that amp was made to play clean all the amps in the 30's-40's era were made to be clean because there was no rock and roll.. that tone was undesirable at that time.
Listen to Charlie Christian at Minton's 1941
Thank you for making this amp sing! The oldest Gibson amps (like the EH-150) are really special.
@RiffinCH88 thanks! Keep on Rockin!
@jepesuzette thanks!!
Dude this is wicked!
thats sounds great man
@MuppetJunior Thanks! This guitar and amp has a rock'in soul so much!!
The first bit sounds very much out of tune. It really bugs me, cause the rest sounds all right. Real vintage Les Paul tone, lovely!
@webusecom thank you!!
@hillbillyboy77 Thanks!!
@vnikosv Thank you sooooo much!!! It' my pleasure!!
great!
unbelievable
Would be sooo pleased to own one!
AWesome! I've got an EH-185 and I love the Les Paul, I've never seen a good reproduction of it, with the firebird pickup and p90 with metal cover and it looks like you have the controls bypass switch between the knobs there. the only thing missing is the metal pickguard
not the first ;;; in fact gibson were late in joining the amp market plus they didnt make them they payed the electronic company lyon and healy to build them
it is worth 1000 to 2000$ in mint condition so 500$ is ok for the condition, see your vintage guitar dealer he will get you one in a few phone calls
@TheMichaelliberty Hi thanks for your message. I bought this amp from Guitar shop of G-BASE. The price is only $450!! If you look'in for carefully,You can find this amp some vintage guitar shop or E-BAY!
