I remember reading years ago of the life of a BBC broadcast engineer. He got a call that Radio 1 was off the air in the Fareham area and set off for the transmitter way out in the country. Letting himself into the building, passed the cobwebs, he noticed a collection of letters on the mat. One, dated a few weeks previously was from electricity board pointing out that the BBC hadn't paid their bill. A second letter from the previous week, remarked that the bill hadn't been settled and that if it wasn't by the following week, unfortunately they'd have no alternative but to turn off the supply. A third letter, in a red envelope stated that they had. 😀

Also, disappointing to hear that the commentary made no mention at the time that only *some* of the lapped cars could overtake. And clear rule-breaking weaving from Max that cements his dirty driving style into the dirtiest end to a sport. Oh and... Team Radio: Verstappen: Oh, my God guys. I love you so much. Horner: We love you. We absolutely f*cking love you. Verstappen: Can we do this for another 10, 15 years together? 🤭😆😅😂🤣

I listened to this live on Sunday night. I do think that Jolyon Palmer is very good. And Andrew Benson. I did wonder where Jennie went but I saw her live on BBC news later in the evening.
