Hey guys, I'm NassauFavoriter but you can call me Gabe. I'm a Bahamian, born in New Providence (Nassau) and it's my favorite island of the Bahamas, not just because of its name, but because it's my childhood which explains the name of my channel. I have a huge passion for aviation because planes were really iconic for me due to how they caught my attention and it still is, I kid you not. My future career is becoming a Pilot. I plane spot at Freeport, Grand Bahama and other islands/countries if I get the chance to. Additionally, I do make X plane videos sometimes, and furthermore, I make some content involving In-flight video's. If you read all of this, thanks and I appreciate you.

Sunwing Sunday Festival (ft. Bahamasair & Western Air) | December 1, 2024 | Bahamas Planespotting
This was a rather interesting time of year for Freeport spotters like me. This was my first time witnessing 3 Sunwing 737 MAXs on the ground at Freeport, especially because one of them is a rare returning livery from August 10th 2024. The reason for them being here was because of Jet Fuel Shortage in Cuba and planes need fuel to get from point A to point B, near or far, which led them to divert here. Also, I was trying to get this video out for a while since it was discontinued.

Nice video, Correction with your video though… Sunwing had up to at least 7 of their aircrafts in Freeport all at once but this was back in 2015-18 They used to fly to the United States from Freeport aswell as other Canadian destinations all in one day around the same time That was the golden era of planespotting in Freeport!

The ATR seems quieter than the Q400.
@@johannesbols57 If I could've verified I would've but I can't since I haven't flown on the Q400's and don't intend to in the future. And most of my friends know the hate boner that I have for the Q400's anyway.

I just love what Bahamas air uses: when going from Miami to freeport(shorter) use Boeing 737, but from fort luaderdale Hollywood( longer) use ATR-72; probably some fuel efficient thing🗣️🗣️
