Howdy, the colt clone is a replica of an 1851 Navy converted to fire 38 special cartridges. Also known as the “man with no name“
However, no slip firing does not hamper those shooting duelist. A local shooter shoots Schofields duelist and is regularly near or at the top time wise as well as routinely clean matches. Looks cool shooting duelist as well!
No doubt, the gun is a hell of a lot of fun to shoot and if you are not trying to slip hammer is as good as any iron on the market.
More like $1100.00 for the Schofield. I do have to say that it is a damn shame how SASS has become only a close range, giant target speed shooting competition.
