BBK LT 1-3/4 inch and straight pipe all they way...if it were me I'd at the very least put mufflers to refine the tone while driving and not make it drone too much

@jahbezmcfadden9355 Nope not for that power level...I will say that a good transmission tune is recommended to really get the most out of the stock drivetrain because the stock programming on the FCA ZF8 is lazy compared to say BMW

Yeah it was both primary and secondary pipes and they were Alphaperformance brand but they don't make them anymore which sucks because they were heat wrapped as well and they were 1k for all 4 with tax.

Sounds like stock tune

Not at all. The stock motor can handle over 600whp and 600wtq no problem. Plus if you see the power curve, most of that is happening up top, most rod failure happens when all the power and boost come on at low rpms.

I'm not too sure, although I have driven a straight pipe M5 so catless and no muffler or resonator and it didn't drone too much so I'd imagine that just a resonator delete won't translate to a lot of drone if any and it will make a difference in the sound. How much louder I'm not sure because the biggest thing that muffles the sound are the catalytic converters

The reason I asked you is because I have X5M F95 at moment I am catless downpipes both primary/secondary and rest of exhaust GPOWER which has a mid pipe and mufflers in end - no OPF but I get drone with valves closed doesn't matter so its boring...now I want to try same setup as you catless downpipes, xpipe and rest of exhaust-rear end stock with no OPF but I am not sure if its still going to be loud or it will get too silent.@@wickedpistonracing

@betimgashi7408 The videos don't do it justice on how loud it was in sport plus. Especially with my aggressive e30 tune. In comfort it was slightly louder than stock but in sport plus the car was loud under load and the pops were gunshot loud

Are you able to code out the pops and bangs? I'm on the fence about going catless. I did it in my F10 M5, my F85 X5M and now I'm not sure if I want it on the F90. Stock F90 already has almost too much burble and pops for me, I wouldn't want that to get "worse", but I want to go to a stage 2 tune + catless uppers and lowers. .. @@wickedpistonracing

Honestly when in comfort you can't even really tell too much...in sport its definitely louder but not obnoxiously louder, it sounds like a loud oem exhaust...I found that with bmw as long as you leave the stock exhaust from the cat back, its sounds the best with downpipes. No rasp or drone.

My F85 had terrible rasp when switching gears, hated that. Otherwise it sounded nice catless DPs with stock exhaust.. @@wickedpistonracing

At the time Downpipe and e30 tune. Half tank, slightly worn tires, and almost 100 degree weather and the track wasn't prepped too good...Did a street run the other day when it was slightly cooler with same tires and e30 tune an cracked out 10.4

Fbo, 17ts, and ots e40 tune. Stock coils, stock hpfp, no port injection or anythinglike that. I'm going to get a custom tune so I can get to 600whp

How does your fueling handle it right now?!? Like has it not shat in you and now you needed port or helix overdrive or you just replacing the parts as is when they shit like wtf how does HPFP support this power😭help me I wanna stay DIRECT INJECTION SO BAD

@hippotesttokill750 LOL idk man I'm at 170k miles right now on stock hpfp, all I have for fueling is a stage 2 lpfp. Pi or helix is if you really want to get deep into the 6xxwhp or more. and the fuel system has been reliable, I've changed all the injectors only once in the 8 years I've owned the car.
