when you're rightie you pull the pen, when you're leftie you push. I've managed to hack my left hand so that most strokes are pulls or sideways (not a problem for a calligraphy pen) though.

i'm a righty only but i really would like to learn to become ambedextrous because i've always found it interesting

im left handed but ive been practicing writting with my right hand and im pretty good at it but it take longer for me to write stuff but it looks well

@swanthedeadlyangel well i allways looked at things easier with the hand i first use it for, my mind is trained to use both my hands at different tasks for convienience purposes, like if the person i am next to is eating with their right i will also use my right hand because logic tells me that would be more comfortable, otherwise i will clash elbows, Writing is becomiing obsolete...People need to stop associating handwritin with handedness, because that is not what makes you handed

im not ambidextrous.. but nowadays I keep practice writing use my left hand..Its like having sudoku.haha(well its feeling same as 1st time i playing guitar) weird, but fun when use my left brain

wow so i'm ambidextrous... someone told me to look this up i never actually relised that i hit a ball with my left hand but throw it with my right... till my gym teacher looked at me funny and asked me... and no wonder when i was little i couldn't tell left from right and everyone thought i was dumb...btw are ambidextrous people generally more clever??? because they used both of there hands so they use both sides of there brain? instead of both???

I agree when you say that "having more options" in the eyes of society is a bad thing. However we both know ambidexterity is not. I have taught myself to be ambidextrous over the past year and a half and I have a youtube video on my account that I think you'll be impressed by (Black Da Vinci). Typically society shapes our handedness, but it is nice to hear that you have found benefit in using both hands.

I was raised in a right handed society where it was prohibited to use "the devil's hand", so I became right handed. As I grew older, I found out that I was more comfortable with my left hand and began fully using it. Now, I use both equally without any problems; although, I have certain tasks designated to each hand.

You don't have problems dressing? Wow your lucky! I am usually late anywhere I go because I can't decide which clothes I am going to wear. you couldn't be any further from the truth. I'm ambidextrous and dont have a problem dressing, yeah one has more options, but since when was that a bad thing. And by the literal definition of ambidextrous we are all born ambidextrous. We just live in a society that is centered around single handedness

ok i was born ambidextrous and im 16 i only found out when i was 13 that its not normal to be able to use both hands that 90 % off people choose left or right and it is almost impossible to use the less dominant one......... so yeah shows how stupid ambidextrous people are nah im joking.

Ambidextrous people are not smarter than one-handed people, trust me. In fact, we have more room to have society based problems compared to lefties because we can equally use both sides of the brain. For example, we usually have problems dressing because we cannot make a decision on what we want. We also usually cannot tell left from right. If you experience this, you will find that it is extremely annoying. BTW, there is no such thing as being "born ambidextrous".

their is nothing wrong with being left-handed! it means that your right side of your brain developed sooner than your left side. besides, leftys are smarter than righties. proven' fact.
