I can see why people are not impressed by this review. To me it sums up as It's a car.... It moves.... It gets stuck in traffic.... Don't get me wrong, Jeremy Clarkson has done many rubbish reviews too, as in they are not factually accurate. Honestly, you just said all the facts mentioned on the brochure, stuff that's already obvious, no in depth talk bout to interior, practicality, or build quality, and driving the car around town for a day doesn't give a very good indication on the general fuel consumption, and driving round city and playing awful music for a few minutes with a few heads shots of you turning the steering wheel doesnt count as a review. Terrible.

@cemsengul16 That's because Ford stamps out Mustangs like cans of soda. The Elise is a hand built, limited run, expertly engineered exotic car. The Mustang on the other hand is a very simple design meant to be sold in the tens-of-thousands of units per year. For an exotic car the Elise is actually quite inexpensive.

@marshknute yes, i love feather weight cars. audi r8 and TT curb weight is 3.6 tons. elise is only 2.1. plus the lotus elise is 150 inches in lenght. Lotus elise i think can go 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds? feather weight cars rule

@cemsengul16 You are clearly not a car person. Powerful engines are just a way to compensate for one's insecurities. The Elise and Miata are in a class of their own: featherweights. True gearheads appreciate them because they offer a completely different driving experience by having 2000lb curb weights. While the Mustang is a fantastic car, it can never match the level of fun only experienced by Lotus drivers.
