The newest vehicle I own is a 2005 blazer , a 2015 mustang , a 1991 GMC on propane , I am thinking the only vehicles I would buy new this day and age would be a Mazda or Toyota or Honda , but then that's just me I have lost my respect for newer GM , Ford, Dodge , besides its cheaper to rebuild a truck from the 70's and 80's and right up to 2006 then buy a bag of 30 modules and Bill gates bug infested computer programed plastic ,
I agree my go to vehicles are 1988-1994 Chevrolet Silverado they go for ever and cheap to fix
I’d take a 4.3 V6 over a 305 V8 anytime. The balance shaft wasn’t added until 1993 though
I would pop a nv149 in that and AWD it out.

My dream truck as a little boy. Too bad they don’t make them like that anymore.
@@cjherrera79 we build them like this all the time to build to this level they are more than a new truck but I would rather have a old one built to new
wow that's amazing
Wow. Absolutely beautiful truck. Nice work .
Thank you very much!
Nice.
Awesome job great looking truck
I love that truck
Beautiful truck 😮
It sure is!
Very nice truck.. nice wheels also.
Thanks 👍
I just bought those same wheels from summit goin on my 83 gmc longbed I have 15by10 I wana run 295s in the back wat a be good tire size to run in the front ?
245/60/15 is what I run
Clean truck 🧼🧼🧼🧼🧼
I looked at a 93 GMC blue short box at coyote flats car show 2x4 with the 5.7 and a Paxton super charger belt drive on it and he tows a 5 wheel camper with it . simply amazing work horse.
I've seen a few of those trucks around ,and most are rusted to death but people still drive them , easy to work on and plenty of parts ...and no payments and can still haul hay .
Beautiful truck. Same color as my 96 extended cab I used to have years ago. Personally I think they are one of the best looking trucks made. I have the outlaw 2s on my 95.
@@chris61670 agreed these trucks run forever and love the old school look glass pack exhaust coming soon
Nice truck! Do you do work on others trucks too?
@@jackd2083 yes we work on other trucks as well but special in OBS
@@projectx4179 I have a 98 extended cab shortbox that I want to do some work to. Would you be interested?
@@jackd2083 you bet
@@projectx4179 I believe you are in Claresholm but I don’t know how to contact you

Down here in the states I actually come across really nice ones for sale. I bought a 95 Silverado about 3 1/2 years ago in great shape and replaced the 305 with a 5.3. I have been watching a 97 Silverado extended cab short bed 2500 in beautiful shape inside and out. Blue with gray interior. He is asking 18,900.00. I want it so bad!
that's a great looking truck Corrie, well done.
I recently picked up an 87 with the same exact 2 tone paint color but a long bed and original 305sbc. Your truck looks AWESOME!!
Beautiful truck! 3500, that’s a man’s truck!!! Two things if you’re open for suggestions, 1, have you ever considered doing an 8.1 swap??? That truck is a perfect candidate for it. 2. Have you ever considered putting in step hangars by each door for getting in and out easier. Or some sort of step done to your liking would be beneficial to your seats. That would help from wearing the fabric out and breaking down the foam cushion on the edge of the seats. Only suggestions. It’s a beautiful truck, & love it! Can’t beat the pin striping nor the American Classic wheels you have!🤠
Hello I ran across your videos and they are awesome, I want to find a 4door gmt but I do not know were to look and suggestions? And what is a good price range
I have two project trucks in my field but they are around depending on the area you live
It is crying shame that you can not buy a new one of those anymore
Beautiful truck!
Nice truck, had a few of that body style, 88 and 89, the one i have now is a 88, payed 5 hundred for it, that was prolly more than i should have, fixed everything from the tailgate latch to the idler and pitman arm. Back window was smashed from a 4 wheeler non driver trying to drive over the cab when loading. Driver and passenger door latch didn't work when i got it. Yeah, fun times. Did all the work myself. Love the old beast. Might want to put a distributor module in the glovebox, just for a spare. Only time i was stranded on the side of the interstate. Could talk for days about them there trucks. Good day all God bless
Remember my sopmore year high-school had long bed Silverado like this.remember car lot had 9999.oo on windshield brandnew.350fuel injected.ran pretty good then
Now that’s the truck I always like just like that
we used those trucks in the oil and gas fields here in Alberta Canada , there one tough truck, like a rock .
I have a question do the 3500 short bed duallies and the 2500 shortbeds have the same frame thanks
The only way it could be better is if it had a five speed…… beautiful work .
thats when they made trucks
Really nice truck, I would have gone with 10 wides up front as well,
Peterfriesen5927 I have these same wheels I just got them from summit racing there going on my 83 gmc long bed there 15 by 10 I wana go 295 50 15 in the back wat size tire would u run in the front. Truck is not lowered it’s at it’s original height
an other real sweet ride
Nice truck the first one. My 89 was stolen out of my driveway in 2016 was just like it but white. Sure miss it.
Buiteful truck accually❤❤
Super jealous been looking for same truck since 97 it was yr graduated and guy went to school with had same truck spec but in black with red interior
Nice Truck ! I have a 97 Chevy K1500 obs ext cab Z71 4x4 , only has just over 184,000 original Km as well as original paint , I’m also in Canada but Ontario
Beautiful trucks! Very nice work 👌
Both look great but I like the fleetside style better OE.
Stepside all the way
Fleet side but definitely with the lS3 tho, Love the original look but with modern drive train!
1t5
I remember asking you how much you sold it for. Cool you got it back. Is the exhaust true duals or just out the muffler?
True duals
Fleet side for this old boy , they both look very good , I would rather restore one of these trucks then buy new less problems with them OBS trucks ,in fact I had Corry rebuild my white 1991 GMC 2 years ago ,it still looks great here in Alberta Canada.
Both are absolutely beautiful trucks Corey I like both trucks. But the one with the LS3 sure would put a smile on a guys face Except I prefer a fleet side over a step side bed.
Great work! Where did you get the RPO label in the glove box? Did you also get the trailering label and door jamb label?
At a local decal shop in Alberta Canada
Should be noted that the first one is daily driven and still a showstopper! Top notch work by Corrie and his guys! Both beauties!
Nice. Looks completely OEM.
The cumbia mix hits though 👌🏻
Turned out great Corrie! It was in height hands!
nicely done , way back when I loved those trucks with the dual tanks , and they road well on the road .
