@@fancfootyfloodbath9172 OMG 😟 I had forgotten that we had Mark Needle as coach in 2012 and 2013! That was a painful time for every Melbourne Football Club supporter. Best if you jump to the 2014 AFL Season instead.

The stories about no supporters and no maintenance was not true The AFL orchestrated this move and it was a David and Goliath fight. They had support by some members of the South Melb Board. The whole plan including the propoganda about no future at South Melb was orchestrated to establish a National game.

And remember that eventually it did mate... as you would well know, for a very long time it did not seem for Melbourne like it would get better.... 2021 GF was a very special day to watch even for many non Melb fans who never thought they would ever get back to that level....
@@fancfootyfloodbath9172 The 2021 GF was a very special day. However Melbourne has not won a finals game since. While West Perth can't get in the top five since their 2022 GF win. Is it too much to ask that my teams win every game they play? It only seems fair and reasonable to me.
Haha the older I get the more I become very grateful for the successes that came because there can be big gaps between unfortunately... although I'm rising the Swans pretty hard this year hoping it's our year

We used to live next to moorabbin oval , my son used to go to the training he was six at the time , plugger took a liking to him and used to show him how to mark using his bulk as my spn was chunky but fit and taught him the drop punt and torpeodo, his first game at under9s footy plugger turned up encouraging him as he was 7 years old and kicked 7 goals in his first game , by the time he was 14 he could kick 50 mtrs drop punts and 55 mtrs torpedos other clubs he played against him the kids called him the freak as he cpuld kick 10 goals a game on his good games plugger was proud , so were we at how nice and attentive tony was to reach out and help him a great guy we love him and always supported tony good or bad hes just an amazing man
