Kajabi is a good platform but all platforms have their pros & cons. I don't know about wildmail but I too have Thrivecart (TC). I like TC but I use it even now as a backup solution to send 1-off payments but TC is a full-featured system as you need mail and a website/homepage. Because I took a break from my business, I moved my list and some content (hidden for now) to System IO (www.terrymlee.com/sio) because it's free and I can still have a membership & courses. Moving courses isn't such a big deal but moving memberships to different platforms can be tricky as it's all about the payments. That's a discussion for another day but I'm recommending SIO for newbies to get their feet wet without a huge expense. There's enough included for free to get started & earn some income.

Are you booking with each coah individually or in a group setting? It sounds like you are having 1:1 w/them....but they just happen to be coaches vs. clients. Correct?

@@TerryMLee heya, thanks for checking in. I actually went back to Kajabi, they changed and upgraded their layouts and customer service and Circle also raised their prices and it became similar to Kajabi in price and didn’t offer as much. So, I’m back to square one again lol 😂

That’s the thing, membership and courses are the same in Kajabi. The only thing that really makes them different is how you charge and deliver the content. So, yes. Choose a course as a product. As example, in a course, we typically have modules and lessons within the modules. In a membership, we might have categories of “monthly live streams” or “funnels and strategies” instead of modules and the lessons would be “postings of the livestreams and “webinar funnel using zoom, SLO strategy, etc” respectively. Last, since it’s a membership, the lessons would be delivered on whatever works for your membership…weekly, monthly, etc Hopefully this makes sense but memberships definitely did not go away. 😃

Hi Heather. First, you're welcome!!! Here's the thing about memberships in Kajabi....it's all about how you want it to look. As an example, let's say you want to (a) provide some core content that's delivered monthly, then maybe quarterly MASTERMINDS, RESOURCES (docs, tips, etc) AND (b) a BONUS section. You can create these "kajabi categories" or modules and add the content as desired. In your example, I would think of how you want the information to be SEARCHED, so your audience can find it later.🙂 Say you only keep the last 3 months of content in category "CORE CONTENT" while older content is in category "ARCHIVES". However, in ARCHIVES, you may have a sub-folder by YEAR AND and each "post" is using naming convention "YYY-MM-name" so "2021-05-Monthly Content Kajabi Members", then "2021-04-Monthly Content Funnels and Ads" I hope this helps. Whatever you do, just make it consistent and your audience will thank you. :-) and don't be afraid to change it to support your audience.

2 diff audiences. I plan on using both. While both support courses, HB is about building community and upcoach is about clients having the best coaching experience…being able to present diff media types in one section or one task is great in smart docs. The ability to track engagement. Assign tasks and more is far easier in upcoach. I suppose you could do something similar in HB via notion but you’re going to work much harder and I don’t think the client experience will be as good. These are just my quick thoughts after just using upcoach for 30 mins.

That's a loaded question. However, what you lose with Kajabi E-mail are time-based capabilities. Some would also argue reliability but Kajabi has done much to improve that. I thought I was missing more than time-based features but until I have over 10K contacts (Kajabi's lowest tier), I had to ask myself "What was I gaining with the complexity of a 3rd Party email when under 10k?" For me, the answer was not much. With time-based features, *Kajabi doesn't have the ability to say DYNAMICALLY/LIVE, after 15 minutes* (not days), send an email and WAIT until they open/read an email before doing something else. Kajabi doesn't have "wait" or minute-based emails. Now, I still have Activecampaign as I develop training related to integrating Kajabi with other solutions but as of this post, I've opted to move my emails back to Kajabi for simplicity sake and wait until I'm near/over 10K and re-evaluate whether the time capabilities are necessary. I hope this helps. :-)

I use TC as my checkout cart, not Kajabi **but** I still have the offers in Kajabi. My setup using email (ActiveCampaign for me or native Kajabi) as the go between. So, when someone buys on a TC checkout page, I have automations that grant access to Offers in Kajabi. As a result, if someone uses an affiliate link, it's really using the TC checkout & TC affiliate program for a TC product which gets reflected (via email automations) in Kajabi with "access" to the products. I hope that makes sense. PS. Many people use Zapier to communicate between the apps and I prefer not to do this.

I totally agree! Thrivecart is my top choice.

Kajabi has email marketing built in but I choose to use Activecampaign for extra capabilities. For my beginners, I recommend exhausting Kajabi capabilities before expanding. Kajabi has a community feature that I use to support my members too.

Honestly, I kinda used Thrivecart from the beginning and most of clients have been strategy sessions (1-on-1's). I like having a 1-page shopping cart and find that it's just easier. My customers like seeing the price up-front on the sales page without a lot of clicking around...at least that has been the feedback.

I was considering Leadpages for my landing pages, but it seems they don't have native integration with Kajabi. I think it's always better when there is native integration so we can focus more on what we do in our business, instead of on all the tech. Soooo, yes and no. It's less about the download but more about them filling out your form **and** what language. you put on the form/page. When they submit a form, they are agreeing to receive a download/PDF but NOT necessarily a newsletter. You CAN add other language that states by submitting their info, they agree to receive a newsletter. Last, by submitting the form, they do end up in your list as a subscriber giving you the ability to email them. Do a search on GPDR and ensure you are compliant.

I think it's more about your wifi speed but it shouldn't have more of an effect than any other internet/wifi device.

Hmmm. Both are on wifi? I know I get that if I forget to switch my phone from cellular to wifi.

Another person stated that they installed the viewer, which didn't work instead of the server. Once they installed the server version & rebooted, everything worked fine.
