very helpful
Thank you, prof!
P(fw) and P(fC) in tha tree has been wrongly mentioned, it should in otherway
this video helped me a lot - thank you!
4:17 why did you multiply by 2, any calculations or just assumptions made
Which major in university has this subject? Is it math or computer science?
Industrial engineering, in operations research class
@ ah i see, that makes sense, I recently got this problem and I’m trying to find the relevant course: “suppose there are two queues A and B, A has average processing time of 3 mins, B 4 mins, any 1 job will goes to whichever queue available, initially both queues are available, if there are 10 jobs ahead of me, what should I see on my countdown timer (estimated waiting time) as the 11th job in the queue”, do you know which topic I should look into?
i need your email , i have model and i want to helpe me pleas
Thank you ❤
Where I can the get the first problem statement
Ur supposed to prune the lines that aren’t the best decision
Sure, please make sure to reference to them in your project.
hi can we use your videos for our project
So decision trees can be used only when there are only 2 possible outcomes because otherwise finding the complementary probabilities would not be possible
Very clear explanation, thanks. In the second exercise, when simulating in parallel, what's the difference between using a single resource with a capacity of 4 and using 4 resources within the same process node each with a capacity of 1?
If you use four resources with capacity of 1 each, you can assign them different properties, for example different processing times. This is helpful if you are trying to model parallel machines where some of them may be old and have longer processing times and some of them are new and have shorter processing time. However, if you define one resource with capacity 4 then all of them will have the same property, the same processing time and everything.
@@saeidehfallahfini1173 Good day to you professor. I am hoping that I do get a reply from you concerning this. Just watched this particular video , and my interest is how to assign different processing distribution times to the four resources in parallel. I would really appreciate if you can guide me through. Thanks
Hello teacher. Would it be possible to share the models built in the video classes?
25:28, what it means "Inc WIP"?
WIP=WIP+1
@@saeidehfallahfini1173 Thank you!
Thanks. How do we know A has an inverse? Does it mean the process is reversible in time?
video 27:45 how to get E(income)=7169 for node 1?
Detailed and straight-to-the-point explanation! Your students are lucky!
your explanation is very clear, now i understand the fundamentals of these modules, thank you so much!
From qadar
should not the ls formula be p + lq ? 🤔
Which book are these from? Please
Such a great video. Thank you so much.
explanation for states given by teacher is highly confusing as these definitions coincide with what is present in books
Hi, how did you get the 26%, 48% & 26% ?
congratulations! Helpfu; video
This was very much useful .. thanks for uploading this
How to solve pie1,2 values at 5:43
TQVM for this video.. Really assisting..
thanks a lot you are great
Thank you for such a informative video. This helps me so much.
Thanks for lectures studying it from Kenya
How 6620.2 comes?
I think it is 6749.90 Calculate : 0.48×7169=3441.12 0.52×6361.5=3308.78 E(Income)=3441.12+3308.78=6749.90
But Somewhere The maths of values is not right. The one after determining the probabilities, ..... !!!
Thank You Ma'am, ...... 🎉🎉
Hello from Argentina Saeideh! I'm Adrian and I have a big doubt in a process that manufactures windows. My doubt lies in the transport of the iron bars that are part of the window's grill to the welding area. In the cutting area, a worker cuts iron bars in a specific measurement. Then, He bundles the iron bars in batches of 9 pieces each. He then transports 5 of those batches to the welding area. It takes him 2.5 minutes to do that. Every finished window has its standard time. How should I assign the transportation time to each of those batches? I have two choices: 1- I divide 2.5 minutes / 5 batches = 0.5 minutes per batch. This would be fine if it was used to price the window. The reason is that I'll then multiply the time by the worker's salary/ hour. This method would not be suitable for scheduling working areas (cutting or welding), because it's not true that it took 30 seconds for a batch to arrive at the welding station. That would not reflect reality and it would result in a shorter standard production time. 2- Or I could just say that it took those 5 batches, 2.5 minutes to arrive at the welding station. So the transport time of one batch would appear on the production sheet as 2.5 minutes/batch. What do you think about it?, best regards
Thank you for your efforts
Thank you for your video ! I simulated this with python, and I discovered a little error in the matrix (I - Q)^(-1) at 16:16. The correct number in line 2 , column 2 is 3,33, and not 0,33.
hey thank you for this video do you have solution for problem 7-11 for the same model ??
why you multipled by 2 in panic example
I dont get that either
Me too
Thank you ma'am.....u r the best 💕
DEAR MADAM, EXCELLENT EXPLANATION
TOTALLY AGREE!!!!
your explanation is awesome! thank you!!
Brilliant
Wishing I was your student! Awesome!
thank you mam very well explained
Absolutely Amazing
Video 4:29: I don't understand why you multiply with 2 when tanks are 1/4 empty
idk too bro
