Switch around the Slider.value and Slider.maxValue lines, if the default max value of the slider is 1 and health is 5 it will get set to the current max (which is 1). Then the max will be adjusted e.g. 10 and the healthbar will show 1/10 health instead of 5/10.

Hi. I want to ask why do we need to use Vector3 offset in the script?
For those who have the healthbar not attatched to the enemy - just use LateUpdate() function instead of Update() in HealthBarBehaviour script.
For some reason my projectiles don't destroy whenever they hit other colliders, they just stop moving an stay there.
Very nice…does this work well not using a ground check? Also, does the sprite float back down especially when using horizontal movement? I’m running into that with my current script
For me it did not work I even did what you did to the lettwrvand it did not work if you can explain please it would help
If your bullet only moves in one direction, you're probably using localScale for flipping your player whereas in this video transform.rotate(0,180,0) is used for flipping. So, on your Flip method, just add at the end: LaunchOffset.transform.Rotate(0f, 180f, 0f); And when you instantiate your bullet, write : Instantiate(projectilePrefab, LaunchOffset.position, LaunchOffset.transform.rotation) All should work after that ;)
What a useless video. Everything was so small I couldn't see what you were doing. Basically I'm just listening to audio on how to create a Health Bar but I have no idea how to actually do it.

I have problems. When I shoot the enemy it wont work for showing the heathbar. So I hit the enemy and the healthbar do nothing. The enemy just just flying around the screen. The bullet flying too and dont get destroyed Is the problem maybe from the shooting or bullet function?

You did not show the Enemy script, did you make a reference of HealthBar on it? so that you can able to drag an put the canvas on it?

Can someone explain why the healthbar shows up in the middle of the enemy instead of above him?
When he adds the HealthBehaviour script to Canvas at @3:49, the x, y and z fields appear below. You can move it up-down or right-left by entering values in the x and y fields there. I had the same situation, I was able to move it up by entering 0.4 in the y field.

I've been trying to get this to work for like 5 hours now, this video is the only one that worked.
It s better to use healthBar.SetHealth(currentHealth, maxHealth); on void Update and not start Thanks now it work very well
I have this problem, where: 1# I press the left mouse one, and three projectile spawn. 2# The projectile stay in the same spot, they won't fly any further. 3# The projectile only appears at one side, the right side and not the left side. How do I fix this? Also I'm using a different Player Movement Script, doesn't seem to raise any confliction though.

I wrote my script for the enemies projectiles and it worked flawlessly, but when I copy paste it to my player's the projectile just fly right through the enemy ?? The script for the enemies can kill my player but my player's script can't, even tho it's a copy paste from the enemies ?
