We apologise for the problems with yesterday's Remembrance Service. Although everything was checked before the service we suffered two failures in the audio system. Resolution is being sought urgently.

We apologise for the fact that only a very few minutes at the end of the service on Sunday, 28th January was transmitted to RUclips. This was due to an unexpected interaction between Windows software and the computer used for live-streamiing the services which prevented normal operation. Investigation has not satisfactorily explained the cause although the system has been operated successfully twice during the following week. Plans are being evaluated for replacement of the older parts of the system earlier than originally intended.

We apologise for the failure of parts of the first 10 minutes of the live-stream of the service at 10:30 this morning (10th December). This was due to an equipment failure which was identified shortly after the start but was worked around for the rest of the service and then repaired.

Apologies again!!! After last week's failure to notice an audio disconnection by some person as yet unknown care was taken to check everything before this week's service. Whilst at the start of the service all was working well we soon discovered distortion and yellow colouring in the feed from the camera. There was little that could be done about it during the service but later it was traced to a connection from the camera to the live-stream device. We will be investigating the fault as soon as possible.

Apologies for the missing sound during all hymns except the last two. A normally permanently connected audio feed had been disconnected and this was not observed by the operators until late in the service.

Apologies to our viewers for two errors in our streamed service this morning. No sound could be heard during the singing of the first two hymns and part of the third. Also the name of the minister leading the service was incorrectly stated on the picture of the exterior of the church at the beginning and end of the transmission. It should have been, of course, Revd Robert Kitching (not Kitchen!). Both of these were operator errors for which we apologise.
