There are many taiwan vlogs out there and they provide the same info, same things that i end up not finishing those vids. But this one is very heartwarming and really makes you watch until the end because of the nice editing and beautiful music! I come back to this everytime ❤

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! I booked a round trip THSR (tinyurl.com/TaiwannHighSpeedRail) and availed the Sun Moon Lake package via Klook (tinyurl.com/Klook-SunMoonLake). For the bullet train to Taichung, as far as I can remember, I took the third or fourth earliest schedule (around 7AMish). I went to the train station as early as I can to allot some time just in case I get lost or confused, and to also redeem the physical ticket over the counter. I also redeemed my return bullet train ticket to Taipei scheduled at I think, 7PM. 12 hours was more than enough to go around the Sun Moon Lake area. Upon arrival to the Taichung station, there's a counter there where you can purchase a bus ticket going to the Sun Moon Lake area. There are guides you can approach for questions. They're super friendly! The Klook package came with an unlimited bike rental, 3 boat rides across the lake, and a round-trip cable car ride. Just be mindful of the boat trip timings :)

This was one of my extreme fear before pushing this trip! But I just went on and did it scared!! :) It was life changing ♡ Though Taiwan is generally safe for everyone, specially for solo travellers, it's always best to be mindful of everything and everyone, and also, don't forget to enjoy ✨

Hi!! Big no! :) Taiwan is super safe, most specially for solo women travellers! During this trip, I was going home every night at around 11PM and didn't feel unsafe at all!
