Thank you! Your experience probably wouldn't be to dissimilar to mine to be honest with a 3090 as you have the same amount of VRAM which appears to be the main bottle neck especially at 4K

Thank you! The wing flex has been a bit weird on the replays so I put it more down to the replay tool I use than the aircraft

I have a pretty beefy system and I am using frame generation but I've still had to turn some settings down to get it to run smooth, its definitely the hardest aircraft in the sim to run by quite some distance

bro it's an ALPHA release, calling it the worst plane is an exaggeration, the effort put into the quality of this aircraft is insane, should be thanking the Devs who have spent their past 3 years developing an in-game asset without getting paid.

I think that's a bit harsh given the circumstances, you are aware Captain Sim have been charging money for the so called aircraft they have been releasing? It has some bugs but it is an alpha version of a FREE product. There really aren't many payware aircraft that compare to the A380 even in its alpha build in my opinion.

@@Chilled_Simming yes but even if it's free it's not an excuse for an airplane that is HARD to fly by hands even for a guy like me that have more than 200 D of flight sim and the plane is just juggling like if he was 10KG 💀💀 i think that the devs have a lot of work to do on this point...

My pride and joy haha, its an AMD Ryzen 7950X3D, 64GB RAM and RTX 4090 and to be fair even this really struggles running this thing! My full more detailed specs are below all my full length videos if you want more detailed specs :)

​​@@Chilled_SimmingI just put together my dream PC on Pc-Partpicker literally one hour ago to see it's cost and it had exactly this specs. But here I am, upgrading from and R5 3600 to an R7 3700X3D in the near future, this should be a huge improvenent too.

I'll be honest this wasn't running the latest update at the time. I'm not sure in my personal opinion that its quite the major update that it seems to be made out to be at the moment. At least for someone like myself who isn't diving deep into the systems. The weather radar being added is a nice touch despite its limitations its nice to at least have some representation of it in the aircraft.

Got a few others scheduled up at the moment, A300 and the regular NG, but certainly will be jumping back into it soon! Pending any possible surprise release of the FBW A380

I ordered the same config yesterday and it costs 3.400 Euro in germany.

Change from DLSS Quality mode to DLAA. DLAA is LIGHT years better and is even better than TAA. It made such a difference in my VR headset it was like experiencing VR for the first time again.

@Bellthorian i tried DLAA but it does this weird ghosting for numbers. Like of I'm increasing altitude on the MCP the numbers do this weird ghosting effect.

It really depends on a number of things. Running on a 60Hz monitor means it doesn’t really matter how many frames the sim is saying your getting, the most the monitor will physically put out is 60. The fps is dependent on a number of factors from airports, aircraft and settings. Typically with my settings in rural locations or less demanding airports I see up to 120 fps, I have seen it go as low as 60-70 in more built up areas. Keep in mind those numbers are with frame generation enabled. If your main game is flight sim, I would say you don’t need a 144Hz monitor, as even if you are getting that frame rate, it’s not the type of game where it’s required to have a good experience! It was only a few years ago that getting a solid 30fps at 1080p in flight sim was considered the best you could get! Also to answer your question on load. Again the monitor refresh rate won’t change the load on the graphics card, it will produce as many frames as it can, it’s the physical monitor that will only put out a maximum of 60fps on a 60Hz monitor, no matter what the counter on the screen says. Typically running at 4K it’s always well in to the 90% range, frequently maxed out. Hope this helps!

Frame generation is a feature of the 40 series GPUs, whether they are AI generated frames or not, its a perfect feature for this type of game! Typically without frame generation on you would be looking at roughly half the fps. Thanks for watching!
