The j35 bleeds a ton of speed

Draken shits away its speed way too fast, and the gun is mounted in a very weird way. It requires quite a bit of skill to use. So yes, the Draken will have the advantage for the first two turns, and then the F-5 pulls through.

@MagikWT it does lose speed very fast, but that's only if you use it's full turning power, as long as you don't turn aggressively you can keep up with an F5. And indeed with enough skill you won't even need more than 2 turns because the draken can quickly get guns on target in any situation

It has better instant turn rate, but due to the delta wing design, it bleeds speed really fast. In a short engagement, it will outperform the F5C, but after the first 2 turns it has already slowed down too much and the F-5C starts winning
