I made a new friend from the Caura Valley Trini, known as Farmer Harry, very nice old guy, extremely knowledgeable about the forest, loves to cook and share food ( he would say don't come with ration) I spend some time at his location exploring the area and the trail north over the Caura Mountain, it was an extremely great experience exploring this part of the country, i was happy to hear Mr. Harry knew the trial to the Blanchisseuse road from the Caura Valley, i always heard about it and i was ask on a few occasion if i knew the trail and if it still exist, so i know now because Farmer Harry showed the way.

You could find Lalaja on the blanchisseuse road not to far from Arima, the road isn't for a car but a good working car will get you in, the roads are dilapidated and muddy , The area is a former agricultural settlement, there are still a couple of gardens and housing, but it is mostly deserted. From the Lalaja South Road you can take the Lalaja Branch Trace to Guanapo or the Lalaja Paria Trail ...
